Arrival Story:
Dante has only one sibling - a less adventurous brother. I discovered him at a cat show where I had gone hoping to find a seal point kitten. His breeder asked if I wanted "the active one" or "the shy one" of the two look alikes. I called my son for advice & he voted for "the active one." Dante purred the minute I held him and snuggled his nose into my neck and my heart too. The rest, shall we say, is "history." He has certainly lived up to his reputation as to being active and then some! Whatever I'm paying attention to is what he pays attention to, and he's always ready to jump into the refrigerator, dishwasher, clothes washer, dryer, or dive across my dresser scattering perfume bottles. What I didn't know was how smart he is - I can't put ANYTHING over on him! Yet, he is such a love that he will sleep in the curve of my arm resting his head on my shoulder, and reach a paw up to lay on my cheek. His goal is to be with me every moment. Dante is my first male cat and he is the most loving kitty I have ever had. When ignored, he jumps up and gives a two paw swat but keeps his claws in.

Bio:
Dante loves running thru the house like a race horse, flinging himself around on his pagoda cat tree and swatting at anything that moves. He is a natural acrobat and hangs from the tree in unimaginable positions. He steals my best jewelry and hides it in his litter pan, his day bed, his basket and under my bed. My co-workers suggest that 'in another life' he must have been an international jewel thief. Once I discover a hiding place he never uses it again. Alas, I am still missing a diamond & sapphire pendant...
