Today....4/14/11...is Ethan's 16th birthday! WoOt!!! That's a pretty big darn deal! :) If I've said it once,I've said it elebenty billion times: I am just blown away at seeing my furry friends getting so much older. I sorta wish that I'd have known all of these guys when they were youngsters. We'd have had a blast!! For the most part,the old cats find me somewhat annoying....not as much as they used to since I have matured so well. Ok ok ok so I'm still a pest even though I will be 5 next month.
In a couple of more weeks Boo and Wee turn 15. Wee likes me and,of course,Boo still has a very intense dislike for me. Opinions vary when it comes to me. hahahahahahahahaha
Big news here you guys! A couple of days ago the Earth stood still and may have even shifted it's axis for just a minute cuz you will NEVER believe what happened. I literally fell out of the chair in pure shock...I SWEAR!! Boo was sitting on Mom's lap getting in some Mom snugglessssss and Dutch walked over,leaned in,and licked Boo's face! We all thought for sure that Boo would dismantle Dutch,but she didn't! She just shrugged it off. Mom immediately asked,"Booey? Are you ok? Are you not feeling well? Do we need to get you to the vet?" Nope,Boo is fine and she just threw herself against Mom for more snuggles. Wow! Wonders just never cease! Is The Boopinator mellowing in her old age?? No. A few minutes later she punched me in the head just for looking at her.
In Moosh news: That boy is getting on my last nerve. On Sunday morning a bunch of us were in bed with Mom...sleeping as we always do. I was sorta sleeping by Mom's right arm.(it was one of those "the alarm just went off times,but we were just not quite ready to get up yet deals.") So there we were.Mom starts petting on me and I was snuggled in as close as I could with my quiet very content purr going on...almost asleep...and then there was OTHER feline movement on the bed. Guess who showed up? MooshDORK. He plopped his goofy self on Mom's left side. I opened an eye as Mom says,"Mornin' Mooshy." About a minute later,just as I was almost back to sleep,guess what he did??? He reaches his paw across Mom and sticks his fingers right in my ear!!! Aw c'mon!!! Who does that!!!??? Soooooooo.....I'm patiently awaiting my chance for a bit of innocent revenge. I'm going to wait until MooshDork is all sprawled out on his back,totally zonked out on the couch like he does....and I'm gonna go right over and just sit on him. HA!! Take that you lil pest!
Hmmmmmm...what else is new? Well....my Mom has been sick again,but mostly she's been pretty stressed for the last month. Her Mom(my human Grandma) has been pretty ill. She had a heart attack on 3-15-11. Scary!! So MY Mom has been taking excellent care of her Mom. Making sure to always take her to her cardiac rehab. program & classes,making sure that she is eating better,and doing everything possible to keep our "Grandma" rested and de-stressed. Unfortunately,they had to make an emergency appointment yesterday at the human Dr. cuz "Grandma" has had a setback. Have no fear my friends. Dr. Pat took care of things and arranged a few more tests just to check things out,and things are looking promising. I'll keep ya posted.
Ok. I guess that's about it for now. I've practically written a book here. I'll type at ya later.
