Arrival Story:
Foxy was a stray,this pretty grey kitty who reminded me of a grey fox showed up one day outside we started to feed him . He was friendly to me right from the start. My cats seem to have befriended him. So then we took him to the vet and got him neutured & his shots. That made him officially one the family. About month later a neighbor who was renting a house in the neighborhood seen Foxy and told my boyfriend that was his cat and he had put him out for picking on his other cat. Mike my boyfriend said will we took him to the vets and got him neutered & got his shots. The neighbor said he's been trying to pet Foxy lately but Foxy won't have nothing to do with him. :) Funny how smart animals are & how they don't forget who mistreated them. He can be shy around some strangers but others he'll warm up to right away. He's a sweet kitty and gets along fine with other cats. He's on the thin side now we're trying to put some weight on him. We've had him for about 3 years now.

Bio:
Foxy is a spunky little man. You think because he's on the light weight side he get picked on but I never sawl another cat pick on him I've seen him mess with a cat or two before but nothing serious. He's not afraid of the Great danes he's good friends with them now. He seems to feel very confident in himself now that he's been with us for a few years now. He loves his 5 year old human sister Rain & 18 month old human brother Caleb. He's recovered from his U.T.I. but still licks himself often. He sometime stands in the litter box looking like he's peeing but I barely see any pee afterwards. I'm not sure if thats means he's still irritated. I'm have to ask my vet when I speak to her again.

Our Foxy man seems to be feeling very well now. His eyes are bright & open wide and he's very active running around. He's more friendly since being sick & makes like cooing noises without opening his mouth as he communicates back with me when I talk to him. He's also trying to sneak outside but I definently won't let him outside unless I'm out with him & he comes back in when I do. He always needs to have water avaible I'm afraid he could get another urinary tract infection.


Foxy is home.

Foxy got home last night. Dr.Annie his vet said he is peeing frequently now. She said he must still be irritated and to keep a eye on him to make sure he still peeing. He's on anitbotics & predinisane. Also he has his prescription UTI food. He is happy to be home. The vet weighed him & he only weighed 7lbs. He has always been thin but 7lbs is way to thin.


Foxy wasn't feeling well

Foxy did not seem like he felt well. He wasn't eating for a couple days & was just laying around & walking funny with his back legs. So i took him to the vets last night and the vet said he has a Urinary tract infection. She had to catheters him & he'll have to stay for a couple days on I.V.s. The vet called today & said he ate a can cat food. I just hope he doesn't have any kidney damage.
