indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: A litter of kittens was found abandoned by their parents by the art department up on campus. All 4 of the kitties were taken in by an art history prof who had several cats of her own and couldn't keep any of the kittens. I offered to take one, as I wanted a companion for Mischief, but they wanted me to take 2. Wolverine was never going to get adopted. They called her 'Damien' or 'demon kitty' because she hated absolutely everyone and would hiss, growl, claw and bite if you looked at her. I of course found that endearing. The people thought that no one would take her because of how feral she was, but I took her and her brother, and I am extremely happy. I don't know if she would have warmed up to me if it wasn't for her brother, but now she's the sweetest kitty ever, even if other people don't believe me! Tips for other cats who like to cuddle at bedtime:
1) Start purring as loud as you can as soon as you jump onto the bed.
2) Groom or love bite your mommy (or daddy).
Some places I've gotten the best responses from:
1) "I know you love me, but not the nose!"
and
2) "OW! Not the armpit!"
3) Sit on or near your mommy or daddy's head, and if possible on or near their face. It gets them up, I swear.
