Morning calisthenics

I'm not the young kitten I once was, so I decided that I needed to start a routine of morning calisthenics. And since everyone else was gluttonous this past weekend I thought today would be the perfect day to start.

At 5:00AM I woke up and stretched well. Morning stretching is very important for overall physical fitness. I then proceeded to jump over to the bed to get my blood pumping. At that point I was warmed up so I started my sprints. Back and forth across the bed. After a few rounds of sprints I then went on to my high-level cardio workout which involved sprinting across the bed, leaping up, then pushing off mom's rump to catapult myself across the bed where I nimbly landed on top of daddy.

I'm also doubling as Sydney-pup's exercise instructor. When I get up and start my routine she does her workout of running in circles around the bed, following my path.

Mom and dad grumbled something about "ungodly hour" and "sleep" but I figured they just weren't aware of my exercise program. I'm sure they'll adjust to my new schedule soon....

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs
