indoors Arrival Story: I've had Minn since the day she was born thanks to her mother Bold who was only 6 months old & escaped thru the extra dryer vent that was not hooked up & got pregnant. That'll teach me not to make a spay appointment sooner. After the kittens were finished nursing Bold was quickly spayed. Then Minnie & her siblings Fuzzy & Siamama were also spayed & neutured soon as they were old enough. Bio: Minnie has always been petite, sweet & gentle. She has a flat little round face that she gets from her persian father we called Baby boy who was a stray. People still think she's a kitten they are so surprised when I tell them her age. She doesn't bother nobody. She's very soft spoken. She was the runt of the litter. She looked like a little mouse when she was a kitten & grew into a pretty butterfly with her flat little pancake shape face. When Minnie was a kitten she all of a sudden got sick & urinated on her self & was very weak . I took her to the vet they put her on a I.V. & was given a b12 shot & antibotics for a couple days . We weren't sure if she got into something poisonious & maybe her liver was shutting down even though at the time she was strictly indoors. The vet said it did not seem she was getting any better and maybe it be best to put her to sleep & I have to come up there to sign the papers the vet said. So I drove up there & the vet called me in the back and I walked back there & the vet said "soon as he got off the phone with me he walked back to Minnie & she was up & walking around". :) So I got to take her home. I was so happy.
Shortly after using up one of her 9 lives, my friend & I were sitting at the table chatting & then I happend to glance into the living room & Minnie had her rubber string from her toy that was tied up high so she be able to play with it tangled up around her neck & she was getting choked & hung by the string. I ran over to her & quickly started to untangle it from her neck. After that I stopped tying there toys up because animals are just like children & certain toys need supervision.
Minnie is doing well she has become more out going & friendly to people as she ages. Boy can she talk when she wants soft food. Minnie seems to know she has alot seniority in her home & she seems to be the spokesmen for the rest of the Pride when they like more wet food or treats.
Since loosing Fuzzy Minnie's biological brother in October of 2006 I've been trying to break her & all the kitties from going outside unless supervised.
Minnie suddenly got sick & I had to end her suffering July 1st 2010. I told her I hope to see her in heaven one day. I'll miss you Lil Minn.
