Arrival Story:
Salem and his brother were both born with 3 1/2 legs. His orginal owner was very mean to them. They both were rescued by a neighbor and I took salem and a friend of mine took in his brother. The little 1/2 leg he had he ended up breaking the bone and I just had the rest removed. His brother had to have his removed also. Salem is a very beautiful cat with fur like silk but he has a very mean streak in him. Which is understandable. He is very much loved and after having him for 4 years he is coming around but always on his guard. But I love him just the same even though when he doesn't get his way he bites your ankle.

Bio:
My dad had a cat with 3 legs and she is black. When my dad died Salem came into my life soon after. To me, that was a sign for me from my dad that I had to take him in. He needed me as much as I needed him.
