Arrival Story:
When I was an adolescent kitten, my humans decided they no longer wanted me. I don't know why. But they decided to drive me into the country and set me loose. I watched their car drive off and dove into the bushes. I was so scared - I had no idea where I was. I found a ditch and sat there, crying and yowling. Then, all of a sudden, I heard a voice. I perked my ears, turned my head, and saw a human kneeling down on the ground about fifteen feet from me. "What a pretty kitty," she said to me softly. I took one step toward her and paused, tilting my head to one side as if to make sure she really wanted me to approach. Before she even got "here kitty kitty" out of her mouth, I was bounding toward her and diving into her arms. I exploded with purrs and nuzzles. The human seemed to like this. She picked me up and took me into her house. I was so happy, I couldn't stop purring and following her around. Plus, I had a new friend, a big BIG kitty named Phatness. He welcomed me into his home just as his guardian did, and we've been a family ever since.
