Arrival Story:
I got Andy as a rescued orphan when he was about 4 weeks old. I raised him on a bottle, nursing him through repeated URI episodes that often threatened to take his life. He was a frail kitten, never weighing more than 4 lbs during his short life. Yet he was one of the most loving and gentle kittens I've ever known.

Bio:
Our vet nicknamed him "Little Bird Legs" when she met him, that's how frail he was. And though his health improved when he was about 3 months old, he was never strong. He had begun to thrive when he suddenly failed -- he was diagnosed with FIP, and died painlessly in my hands. His courage and spirit touched me in a way no other kitten ever has, and I grieve for him yet today. He went over the Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Eve 2004.
