Arrival Story:
I found Pogie ande her littermate Sammie, whhile going for a walk. They were at the vet's, just a few weeks old. I took them both in my heart.
Pogie suddenly got very ill last July 2005, and within 2 days, we had to have her euthanized. That was the most heart-wrenching thing I've had to do, but it was done with love and compassion. I held her in my arms and told her how much she was loved, and what a good girl she was...as she crossed the bridge, a tiny part of my heart died with her.
Bio:
Pogie was the sweetest, silliest kitty... She would sit on the bathroom sink, watching whoever was in there at the time. she would purr so loud.
She wasnt the brightest bulb on the tree tho... had a habit of falling off of whatever she was sleeping on at the time hehehehe a ledge.. tv.. table...
She useed to get her paw stuck behind her ear while grooming, and tip over. She was "spedshul" lol
I loved that little girl sooooo much.
She was so tolerant of the children, even letting a 3 year old pin her down and brush her teeth, with *HIS* toothbrush. :)
I miss ya Pogie, have fun on the bridge!

This is my "Rainbow Bridge" posting for Pogie girl.. who we had euthinized this afternoon. I love you Pogie.
"Pogie, please please please forgive me for having you put to sleep... i had no choice, you were dying before my eyes.We have so many memories that will help us accept your passing... from travis pinning you down and brushing your teeth when he was three years old, to watching you wash your face, and fall over because you had your paw stuck behind your ear.You sweet, silly girl... so gentle.. so friendly... i will miss you forever. You were an Ear Sucker, and only mine would do.
I will always keep your hair and whisker clippings in my medicine bag... you are now my Spirit Girl.
