Arrival Story:
Impi came to live with us just before the age of 3 years, she had been passed from home to home, one of them homes being a home where she was badly neglected, she was in very poor condition and starved. Thank goodness she was removed from there before she died from neglect. From her past experience she now believes that every meal will be her last one so she goes nuts when there is food about, even the sound of her dinner bowl makes her got a little crazy. We are working with her to try re-train her that she will not be starved with us. So far so good. Impi is bald devon with nothing more than a tiny bit of fuzz to cover her naked body so when winter comes she has to get our her winter woolies to keep her bum warm.
