Arrival Story:
When we moved here, one of our cats somehow escaped from the compound my husband had built for some of our cats. Months of ads, calls, and sign posting did not recover our beloved boy, but among the responses was one from a local guy who said he might have our cat. He drove over with a friend and the cat, who was most definitely NOT our guy. But she needed a good home, and they could not keep her, so I gave them a donation to thank them and show them I value cats (living by example!) and Maryam joined our family.
Bio:
Formerly known affectionately as The Calico Barn Snarler, Maryam is now referred to as the Calico Queen of the Manor, a title she wears well.
