Hey, boys! Need some help?

Mom had some people come over today to install her surround sound, so I thought I'd help 'em out if they needed it. I supervised all their work, and then I played with their bags and moved them out of the way for them, and then I did some somersaults and brought my big straw toy over and set it down by them, in case they needed a break and wanted to play with it. They said I was a silly cat but I guess I helped 'em out 'cause they laughed at me and gave me a good petting before they left.

I was friendlier than Sampson was!

Mommy's petsitting her dad's two birds while he's away. Ohboydotheylooktasty. She brought them home with her last night, ohboydotheylooktasty, but she says she forgot what a "demon spawn" I am (whatever that is!) and now she regrets it. I saw their cage on the counter and I jumped right up and started scaling the bars (ohboydotheylooktasty) while Mommy was getting the rest of their stuff out of the car and when she came back in she got reeeeaalll upset. She told me I can't eat the birds and birds are not for eating. Psh, what does she know? So I ignored her and kept climbing the cage until she put the birds in another room and shut the door so I couldn't get in. So now I can't eat the birds 'cause I can't figure out how to open the door. All I want is a little taste, anyway. Then I PROMISE I'll leave them alone.

Hello, fishie!

Mommy says she bought me a fish. She went to the store and got a five-gallon fish tank and she put a pretty fish in there. Mommy says she bought it for me because I always like to play with the fish in her big tank, so she gave me this one to watch since I'm too small to reach the big tank (unless she holds me up, which she doesn't do anymore 'cause I'll sit there and be entertained for hours, and she says she has things to do - like anything is more important than me!) So now I have my very own fish, but I can't go fishing like I do in the big tank, 'cause the cover totally covers up the top. Can you believe that?!

What fun are fish if you can't try and eat 'em?

SANTA PAWS CAME! HE REALLY DID!

Would you believe it?! Mommy said Santa Paws was gonna come and give us gifts for Christmas, but I thought she was just being silly! BUT HE REALLY CAME! And he left us lots of stuff in our stockings!

He gave me lots and lots of felt mice, and a brand new feather stick (mine didn't have many feathers left, how'd he know I needed a new one?!), a kitten mitten, and some yummy cat treats!

And Mommy bought me and Desi a Star Chaser Turbo Scratcher! It's so much fun that I spent the last half hour chasing the ball around the circle! Desi wanted to play with it, too, but I decided to take a nap on top of it so he couldn't. Mommy finally made me get off it and I found the WRAPPING PAPER! Ohboy! That was lots and lots of fun! So was the boxes that the gifts came in! I think those were even funner than the gifts Santa Paws brought us!

Sampson is sooo dumb! He keeps trying to play with me, but he's soo clumsy he's never gonna be able to get me. I hopped in the tunnel in my cat tree, and he stuck his big fat head in after me and tried to get me! So I hopped out the other side and climbed up the tree, and he still had his head in the tunnel! Dumb dog! Then he FINALLY realized that I wasn't in there anymore, and he stuck his head up onto the tree, and I grabbed onto it and started hitting him with one of my paws! Then I ran reallyreally fast to Mommy's room and flew over the baby gate, and sat there staring at him 'cause he couldn't get in.

But he could!

He got in!

He climbed up the baby gate with his front paws, then he threw his back half over and got into the room! Can you believe that?! Luckily, I was under the bed by then, but man! Now how am I gonna tease him?

Yuuuuuckkk! I got ringworm!

Oh, no. Me and Desi went to the vet yesterday, and the vet took a look at the missing hair on my paw and my nose, and she found that I have RINGWORM! Eeww. And now Mommy has to put a big cone around my head so I won't spread it anywhere else or lick the cream off my paw. I don't really like the cone 'cause I keep getting stuck! So I have to sit there and look sad until Mommy notices me and helps me unstick myself. I don't like this.

And do you know what else?! Our poo samples at the vet showed that we both have some bad bacteria! So now we gotta take this yucky medicine twice a day. I don't like it, so I wiggle around and try to make Mommy spill it, 'cause it doesn' t taste very yummy.

I hope all this goes away soon. I don't like my cone. :(

Hey! Why aren't you petting me?

Today my Mommy was petting everyone else and doing "work" and totally ignoring me! I did not understand why she did not like me anymore. She was petting Desi, so I went and wiggled under her arm so she was petting me, but then she moved so she was just petting Desi again! And then she was on that computer and ignoring me AGAIN, so I had to go and sit down on her keyboard and try to look cute. But she picked me up and moved me off! So I climbed into her lap and onto her chest and she FINALLY paid attention to me! Geez. That was a lot of work to just get some purr-time. I'm gonna have to work harder at being cute.
