THANKS, YOU GUYS!

SHUCKS!

I'm kind of overcome with all the adulation, fame, and LOVE from my CATSTER friends! Wow, it's so amazing to be COTD AND have my diary picked, all in the space of just a few days. Like I always say, I'm just a long, tall tabby from Temple City, and "laid back" is my M.O. So I guess I'm going to deal with this just like I deal with everything else -- relaxed and friendly-like. My sisfurs Rani and Tarifa are in the office with Meowm and THEY'RE pretty excited about it all -- brofur Sammi is chillaxin' by Meowm's feet like he loves to do when she's in here peckin' on that weird thing she spends far too much time on. Nothin' really phases Sam.

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows how much I aPURReciate the honors, and the friendships, and the loves; as far as we're concerned, EVERY cat is a star, and deserves all the love there is!

Just a little note before I ride off into the sunset (or watch the birds, whichever looks more interesting) -- we are all REALLLY glad to hear that the little tabby beauty some call "Sticky" (but whom we purray gets a name that befits her beauty and dignity) is safe and a new, loving, forever home is hers. Also, we are feeling good that the very, very bad monster who hurt her has been found. We know what WE would like to have happen to him and all like him! Meowm would be more than glad to help out with this. In the meantime, we purray that the beautiful little girl will have a life like our sweet furriend Hazel Lucy -- never a cause to do anything but purr, every moment of every day and night, surrounded by love. YES.

Gosh, do I feel purry now -- you guys have made me COTD on CATSTER!!! and the pawmail and gifts and sweet stuff has been flowing in all day long. What did I do to deserve this? I'm just a long, tall tabby from Temple City, who was lopin' along behind some strangers when some OTHER strangers scooped me up and brought me home and, well, since then, I've been ridin' tall in the saddle! and feelin' purty good about bein' a Cowboy Cat.

Meowm tells me I'm Head Cat around here, too, since my big bro King Nicolas "Triller" Cat went leaping up onto the Bridge (but he watches everything I do, to make sure I do it right. No one can do it like Nick.) and she tells everyone that I rule with a velvet paw, and keep the clowder running smoothly with love and friendliness, not power and all that other not-so-nice stuff she says a lot of human rulers use to keep their kind in line.

Around here, it's a friendly kind of place. We're all kinda home on the range (well, no -- Meowm would never let us get up THERE! She says it's the one absolutely off-limits place to us along with this machine she helps me by transcribing my dictated messages onto...)where the deer and the antelope may once have played...
