Oh yes, too many to list here
On my sons 12th birthday he wanted a "cat of his very own". To prove he was responsible enough for a cat of his own he went & helped out my friend that ran a rescue center. He worked there for a whole summer (his birthday is in June & he worked there from the end of May till school started in Aug). He got to pick the kitty he felt that he'd bonded with the most, & that's how we got Squirt.
She had a BIZARRE habit. She loved Chlorine. (I'm assuming it was Chlorine). After anyone got out of the tub or shower Squirt would zip over there. She's already be purring, then she'd rub her nose against you, give you a couple of licks with her sandpaper tounge, then grab your arm or leg (which ever was closer) & begin literally trying to suck the moisure out of you skin!! The reason I believe that is was the chlorine that attracted her; was if you got out of the swimming pool & went in the house even slightly damp; she was like a Tazmanian Devil, or like she was possesed!!
She opened drawers, doors, not only climbed up curtains/screens; but climbed back down paw under paw (reverse order of how she got up).
We used to have Crows that would hang out outside in the parking lot. She'd be stalking them (completely unseen in her opinion) then one would fly away. Instead of sitting there devastated; Squirt being the smart purr girl she was, would jump down & run into the next room (which had a window on the same wall as the previous room). She had figured out that life didn't end just because the bird flew away. She knew that she could continue watching that same bird if she got to the other window fast enough!
She also loved hanging out into 12 pack soda boxes, or even paper bags. When anyone walked by, she'd attack. Trust me all of my babies knew what "Squirt Alert" meant; it meant they were in trouble, & Squirt was on the way!!
I learned from the woman Squirt was living with that she passed away in her sleep in January 2010.
