Arrival Story:
Well, Toaster Strudel is the kitty formerly known as just Strudel, and I first made her acquintence right here, on the Catster forums. In this forum a call for help turned into a call to duty for so many kitties and their families. We are honored to have her in our home, as through her we have been reminded that the world is a pretty wonderful place full of caring and generous souls.
I don't know how we could possibly thank all of you, but I need to Thank PJ Kitty for trying to give me a home, Auntie Simba for taking care of me in AZ, Auntie Deb for taking me in, Ele for being treasurer of the spontaneous outpouring of monetary help for me and my housemates. Also a special thanks to the new families of my former housemates. Ashlye, who has taken in my real-life mommy, Anwee as well as Jinx, Callie who has Salem (Loki), Baby who has Love Muffin, and Loki who will soon have my littermate Wallace. Like I said there is no way I could name you all! I thank everyone who donated, worried, supported, phoned, emailed, and the multitude of things that you all did for us!

Bio:
Toaster Studel's family was moving form AZ to AK, and they were not able to take the 7 kitties they had living with them. Their AZ mommy had tried to find homes or no-kill shelters for them , but wasn't having much luck. PePe was placed with a Maine Coon rescue, and all the reaming kitties went to live with Catsters! Strudel first went to live with PJ Kitty, but her mommy had a terrible reaction to them, and they were on the way to the shelter, but she could not find it, and had to return home with them. That is where Simba stepped in and found a foster for us, where I stayed until my new mommy got me to Albuquerque, my new forever home.
I did have a slight name change, to Toaster Strudel, just to I could fit in with my siblings.
