My sis wasn't feeling any better today so mom whisked her off to the v-e-t. Mom says that Pansy normally wails like a banshee when she goes there but today she hardly made any noise at all in the waiting room. That made mom worry even more.

Pansy had some blood work done and had an x-ray taken. The good news is that her internal organs look fine and her blood work was purrfect. The bad news is Pansy has a fever and a severe gastro-intestinal infection. She was given antibiotic and anti-nausea injections and has to stay in the hospital at least overnight. Mom will call and check with the doctor tomorrow morning for an update on her progress.

The vet thinks Pansy must have ingested something BAD but mom just can't think of what it might have been. Pansy isn't one to get into things. That's my specialty but I feel fine. Mom will be going through the house tonight with a fine toothed comb to make double sure there's nothing nasty laying about.

My poor sis. I know she's gonna be so scared being in a strange place tonight. I sure hope she's feeling better tomorrow. I miss her and her giggles already.
