Today, Sept 11, is my Momma Carol's 62nd Birthday!
She is visiting us here on Catster, and at the Bridge, where she can also see her long-time Love, "Daddy-John". I am sitting here on his lap, and we are all watching the Nascar Races from above, and thoroughly enjoying the day!

My "Anniversary"...

Hello, my dear Friends, and Momma Carol,
Today is the 2nd "Anniversary" of when I came to the Rainbow Bridge, around 6:30pm.
Momma had forgotten this fact, until she read the many notes and Rosettes, that had been posted on my page. [She would not "forget" this, just a momentary "lapse" in her memory.]
Momma has taken my ashes down off the shelf, where I sit with Molly and DC, and Momma's human Mommy and older Sister...
She opened my box, and says that my ashes are very "Pretty", with many colors! I had many colors to my fur, so that is just "natural" I guess! =^..^= ;)

My Brother, Welcome to the Rainbow Bridge!
I was watching your health, and you tried so very hard, to make Momma "Happy", but gosh, sometimes we just get so "Weary", and just want to sleep most of the time...
You say Momma took you to a "place", where they "Helped" you to "sleep"? Gosh, that was Nice of Momma, she really made the "Ultimate Sacrifice" to make that kind of decision...
But Casper, look at the "Good" side; You are nice and strong, and your fur is back to beautiful "Snowy White", and there is no more pain, and also, Smudge can no longer "bother" you, and you can still see Momma any time you wish, by just going to the "Wishing Well", and there is a telescope there, where you can see Earth, and your "home" there, and kiss Momma Carol, while she sleeps.
Better yet, sneak up to her, and run your claws through her hair, while she sleeps. Hee~Hee!!!
I used to do that, when I got hungry, in the early mornings, and it sure pleased me to see you doing the same thing to her ~~MOL!
And how about "Flying"?? Have you ever wondered how things look, the way a bird sees them? We get these Super~Duper Wings, here at the Bridge!
And hey, have you found Daddy~John, yet?? He sure will be happy to see you, and his wonderful Lap is ours, for the asking!
And we can sit with him, and watch the Nascar Races!

And Sami, your beautiful GirlKittyFriend...I sure hope she is "OK" and not too sad; she is also a little "older" kitty, and I am sure sometime, when its "her" time to join us here, we can guide her journey.
I see my Darling Simbo, all the time! I can fly down to see him, anytime; I just sit up in a tree, and talk to him, from "above" and all is "good"...

The Importance of Smoke Alarms...

Hello, Friends,
It is with a "Heavy Heart" that Momma and I must pass this message on, this New Year.
Yesterday morning, at a neighbor's home, a fire broke out, possibly from an "overly dry" Christmas tree, overloaded circuits, or just plain "fate"...
5 people perished, and possibly some pets, also. One child survived, but only because she opted to spend the night with friends, elsewhere.
Please Friends, put up "extra" smoke alarms, check your batteries in your existing ones, and be very careful!
This tragedy could well have been avoided; but the results of the investigation have only "just begun"...
Our Prayers & Purrayers go out to the Family of these people...

Very Busy Me!

Hi Friends, I got very busy, this afternoon, and flew down to Earth, and saved the lives of Smudge's other 5 babies! One had struggled its little self about 10' away from their birthing place, and was almost in the street, even with its eyes closed. He may have been following his Mommy's "scent"...
A nice little boy found him, then the neighborhood kids found 4 more! I was so relieved, that they are all now with their Mommy. I watched over their safety, overnight, and made sure someone heard their cries for help!
They had gone over 24 hours, without their Mommy or food. I kept them warm, even though it was a little cool out, last night.
I think they will survive, their Mommy is a good Mommy, and I will give her loving advice (even though I never had any kittens, myself, until I came here, but this is different)
All the Angels amd I watched over these tiny lives, so they can have a "chance" at good happy lives! ;)

My "Clone"

OMC This Kitty, "Smudge" looks so much like me, its "unreal"! We have the same coloring & eye color! Only difference is, I never had any Babies, but this one is OK, its so tiny & helpless, and only the "One" (name is appropriate, anyway!)
I will watch over their lives, and help them to be Happy!

Madonna & Child

Well, Friends, Momma managed to catch the Momma Kitty, and now she is in a carrier, with her one (so far) baby. We are hoping that she did not place the others up in the insulation. So far, we have not heard any more kittens mewing. We would be really sad, if the others lost their lives, and only this one survived...
The MommyCat's name is "Smudge", and I hear that she looks alot like "Me" when I was very young. Momma does not know it yet, but I really "sent" these young lives, down to her, to take care of, because I knew they would be well taken care of... ;)

New addition!

Well, My Momma has just rescued a one-week old baby kitten, and she needs to go back to see if there were any more! The MommyCat had moved this one under Momma's sister's trailer, and it was easy to get to. It is a wiggly, howling little white-with-black-spots Girl Kitten.
We know that she is a week old, because we saw the MommyCat one day, last week, & she wa all "fat" then she was suddenly "skinny" the next day.
Boy, it has been so many years, since Momma fostered any babies, this 'tiny" She hopes she can manage to keep it alive. it deserves a chance!
I will keep you "updated" on how things are going! Oh this is exciting!

Today, Sept 11, is my Momma's Birthday, she is 60 yrs "Young" today!
We also wish to send Special "Healing Dust" for all the Families of the Sept 11, 2001 tragedies, from our Angel Family Members.
May Ceiling Cat watch over them...

Thank You!!!

Wow! Momma and I were very surprised, when she opened up her e-mails, to discover that I was (again) a "Daily Diary Pick", from Catster!
We really Love Catster so much, it is Momma's "Therapy Session", every day; (she cannot make it, without all her wonderful Friends and all the Beautiful Kitties, here!)
And the best part, is that she doesn't have to go to a "shrink"!
Alot of her "outside" friends don't really "understand" her love for Kitties, but one very good Catster Friend (Mipo & Mipette's Mommy) Has been "beside" her all the way, through some very difficult times, and she just wanted to say a special "Thank You" to her, also!
Also, without the Love & Support from her younger sister, (Clancy, Kiki & Seven's Mommy) she would not even be here, to enjoy all the fine Kitties! She is the person who introduced Momma to Catster, 3 yrs ago. Thank You, Debbie! We Love You!
