Hi Everyone,
My name is E-Burm's Bailey, but you can call me Bailey, or Bailey Boy. My mom also likes to call me "teeny-tiny," because I'm so cute and tiny. 3442qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqggggh.
Oh, btw, I really love the computer and I typed that. Anyway, I'm full of energy, and full of fun, and I love to play with my big brother, Timmy! YAY for Timmy! Mom didn't think things were working out between us on Monday night and got scared that Timmy would hurt me, so in frustration, she put Timmy up for adoption on here (don't tell him I know). Everything's getting better, so she took that down. I'm teaching Timmy how to do lots of important things, like sitting on people's laps and enjoying the comfort of the furniture (beds and couches) where our people are. See, I HAVE to sleep with people. It's part of what my breed does. I also HAVE to sit on people. Again, it's what my breed does. Timmy wasn't socialized properly when he was my age, and he doesn't understand that furniture and people are to be enjoyed by kitties! I also teach Timmy how to have proper litter box ettiquette. He doesn't cover his pee, so I cover it for him, and he watches. Maybe he'll get it.
I have so much to say, but Mom says that because I typed a lot here, we'll have to have another entry tomorrow or later.
As Timmy says: "Yay for Timmy! Yay for Bailey!"
More later,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
I've been here for two whole weeks today! YAY! Timmy and I are really getting along very well, and yesterday, we were left home all by ourselves for almost 2 hours! YAY! We were good kittyboys and didn't do anything naughty.
Timmy and I love to chase each other, wrestle, touch noses and say "I love you," and lots of other fun kitty stuff. We love each other so much and Timmy told me that he doesn't know how he got along without me!
Our other favorite thing to do is to sit in the bathtub and drink from the tap together :)
I really enjoy both the computer and the tv. Right now, I'm in Mom's left arm so she can't type with one hand very well, and she;s telling me to wrap it up.
More later!
Kitty kisses,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi everyone,
I've been living here for 3 weeks now, and I'm completely settled in! I love Timmy soooooooo much, and I've gained enough confidence to initiate play with him! We're inseperable and love to snuggle. I'm not too sure why he won't let me suckle though... my littermates and I always used to do that, because our mommy was in heat and our breeder wouldn't let us nurse when Mommy was in heat. My sisters got very sick from the heat-milk, but they recovered :)
So much to say, so sleepy... Oh, Mom went to another cat show yesterday and brought back a ton of peacock feathers! She got the good kind that are very long. Timmy and I love to chew on the shafts, they're so crunchy and crispy :) We don't eat them though. At the cat show, Mom met the human mom of my uncle Zen! Zen is Mommy's brother. He wasn't there, but his adopted little sister Sabrina, a blue tortie, was there being shown. She's about a week older than I am, and looks like Mini-Mommy. My biological Mommy is a blue tortie; sooooo beautiful :) Mom says I kind of look like her, but I'm red, of course. She says she can see Mommy in my face and body. She also saw Maryellen, our breeder!!!! Yay!!! She was so excited to see her and gave her a report about how I'm doing. I sneeze a lot but I have no boogers, so we're not sure what's up with that. I'll be going to the vet in about 2 weeks for my shots, so we'll find out then. I'm completely healthy otherwise, I eat like a pig (so Mom says), drink my water, and play a LOT.
Oh, this past week, we had a houseguest! My mom's aunt! She's a super-nice lady who loves kitties to pieces and has a Siamese named ChiChi. She's had lots and lots of kitties, so she knows a lot about kitty psychology and said Timmy and I are a GREAT match. We know that :) She also has a fantastic lap to sit in, and gives good skritchees. She left on Friday. I miss her, but know she needs to get back to ChiChi.
Well, it's time for bed, Mom wants me to log off so that she can turn off the computer and go to sleep. She has to wake up to go to work :( I wish she could stay home with me and Timmy, but she says she needs to make money in order to pay the vet, buy us food and toys, and other things.
Kitty hugs,
Bailey Boy :)
PS: Yay for Timmy! Yay for Bailey! Yay for Iams canned kitten food! Yay for Purina ONE crunchy kitten food! Yay for my faceless mousie! Yay for my Mom!

Hi Everyone,
My mom has been telling me for a few days now, that I'm going to the vet! I went to the vet once, when I was still with my brothers and sisters, and my brothers and I were brought to get "neutered." I don't remember very much about the experience, except that my brother George cried in the car. I wonder what's going to happen at the vet? I've been sneezing a lot, and mom says I need more shots. What's a shot? Have I had it before? Do I like it? I hope it's not scary. Mom says I've had shots before, but she doesn't know
what happened, because it was at our breeder's. Frankly, I'm a little nervous about the whole thing, but since Mom's going to be there, I think I'll be fine. Timmy has been telling me about the vet's office. He's been there twice; once for his "I've been adopted from the Humane Society, well kitty checkup," and once just before I came home to get his nails cut. He won't let Mom cut his nails, but I do. He says the people at the vet's are super nice, and he loves the vet tech. He said our vet gave him lots of "good kitty" treats and that she kept shoveling them in his mouth, and that they tasted extra yummy! I wonder if she'll give me the extra yummy treats, too?
I'll write more after my visit to let everyone know what happened.
Kitty kisses,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
Well, the visit wasn't what I expected. When I first got there, everyone was facinated with me. They had never seen a European Burmese before, and thought I was sooooooooooooooooooo cute and snuggly and sweet (which I am), and one of the vet techs decided to take me out of my carrier and snuggle me, which I really liked. Then a family with 2 kids came, and the little daughter thought I was like a toy, and stuck her hand in my carrier. I didn't mind, I like attention, but Mom told her to let me smell her hand first. Then, a lady and her two "Yorkies" came in, and they ran around the waiting room. One kept saying "hello" to me. They were a little bigger than me, but smaller than Timmy. I wonder what they were? Mom says they're dogs. I'm not so sure!
Anyway, the doctor called us into the exam room, and let me out of hte carrier. Then, the male vet tech scooped me up and they looked at my eyes, in my mouth, in my ears... then, the REAL violation began. They stuck a thing in my bum! They said they wanted to take my temperature! After, they kept trying to put a NEEDLE in my arm! so THAT"S what a shot is!!! They're awful! I can't believe Timmy likes to go to the vet! They tried to give me the yummy kitty treats that Timmy told me about but I was so upset I couldn't eat them, and then they gave me a mousie doll that came home with me, but I want no part of it. It reminds me of the shot. They found out that I have a slight but very minor heart murmur, which I should grow out of, and that as Mom suspected, a mild upper respiratory infection. I get to take Amoxi-Drops with yogurt!!! YAY!! it's soooooooooooooo yummy!!!!!!! I like medicine time!
Well, I'm getting sleepy and I know Mom is too, so we're going to go to bed. Nighty night, everyone!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

...I'm getting tired of taking the yogurt/Amoxi-drop smoothies everyday. Mom said Iwas supposed to take it for 10 days, but it feels like forever, and I overheard her talking to the vet's office on the phone and she said "okay, so he'll finish the bottle." So I don't know when we'll be finished!
I met a new friend yesterday! A strange man named Nick came to our house and played with the Firevision! I didn't see him do that, but Timmy watched him. I was in Mom's room and I was dying to get out to meet him! So, Mom took me out and I wanted to jump into Nick's arms. Mom says he's a chimney sweep. She says he cleans the chimney so that we can watch Firevision throughout the autumn and winter! YAY! I asked Nick if he'd hold me, and he picked me up and loved me. He told us that he has a kitty named Jack, who was a lot like Timmy, but a little older. He needs a kitty brother too, so Mom told him all about integrating a kitten with a 1 year old cat. YAY! Mom was so nervous about me and Timmy, but we love each other so much that she's no longer worried. Now that Mom's set Nick at ease, he and his girlfriend will get another kitty! YAY!
I can't wait to meet more new people! Mom says her best friends will be coming over on Saturday. Timmy said that when he met them, they smelled like 2 cats and a dog, and he was kinda repulsed by the dog smell... My breeder had 2 dogs, so I'm not too concerned. Plus, all people are good people! (Note from Bailey's Mom: European Burmese trust ALL people and animals)
What else to report? Oh, I tried a new canned food: Science Diet Chicken and Liver for kittens! It's AWESOME!!! I love it! I don't like the Science Diet Oceanfish squares in gravy though. That's not that great and it makes my tummy upset. I also love the Nutro in pouches, and the Iams kitten food in pouches. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
Okay. Time to throw myself at Mom and snuggle.
Love,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
I hope all you kitties and people have had a great Thanksgiving!
I've got so much to say, since I haven't written in almost 2 weeks!
Mom's friends came to visit me and Timmy, and I had the greatest time. I love my new friend Tarl, he's such a great guy. He wanted to take me home in his jacket, and I didn't mind. He gave me a new nickname that everyone is now calling me: "Chief." It sooooooooooooo fits me! Mom was calling me the director, but we like my new one better. Hail to the Chief! Yay!
I'm no longer taking my yogurt/Amoxi-drop smoothies. I was getting tired of them, and I finished the bottle, so that's all gone. Mom still thinks I have the URI because I'm still sneezing, but I seem to be feeling a lot better, so that's good.
A festival called Thanksgiving happened last week. My mom was busy baking and cooking, and the whole house smelled so yummy that I wanted to try everything! I did get my own plate of turkey, which is a lot like chicken but waaaaayyy yummier, and I enjoyed it so much that I pigged out on Timmy's portion! He wasn't happy about that, and every time Mom wanted to hand feed him away from me, I ran over and tried to eat his turkey! Mom was very angry with me, and her mom gave me a second plateful to keep me away from Timmy's. (Note from Bailey's mom: Timmy did get some turkey)
We've been watching Firevision a fair bit, but it's been warm so we haven't had it in a few days. I love helping Mom put up the fire and shred the newspaper to help her get it ready to crumple :)
I think that pretty much covers the last 2 weeks :)
Love,
Bailey Boy

Guess what, everyone???
Mom looked in my mouth just now and she discovered that I have lost one of my baby canine (fang) teeth, and am cutting one of my grown-up fangs!!!!!!!!!!!! What exciting news!!! I have a few grown-up teeth, but this is big stuff! Wow! Mom's sad because she doesn't know where my teethies that have fallen out have gone. I think I've swallowed them :( I haven't lost too many teeth yet, but it's happening!!
yay for grown-up teeth! I'll be like Timmy soon :) :) :) in the big teeth department!!!!!

Bailey Boy

Note from Bailey's mom: we found a fang on the floor!!! I put it in a Ziplock bag, and we're awaiting the Tooth Fairy to come. I have it on good authority that she and Santa Claws are verrrrrrryyy good friends, so I think they're working together to get Bailey something nice, though it might be after Christmas :)
From Bailey: What's the Tooth Fairy? Who's Santa? Will I like them? I bet I will! I've heard they do nice things for good kittyboys :) I'm a good kittyboy :)
Love,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
The other day, Timmy and I watched "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" on tv with my mom. It's her favorite Christmas show! I'm not too sure what Christmas is, and Timmy says he's not too sure either, because he was 1 month old last year, and still with his kitty mommy and siblings (Note from Bailey's Mom: I'm HOPING Timmy was with his kitty mom! We don't know of course, because Tim came to us at the age of 9 months from the humane society). Anyway, it was a GREAT show! Timmy and I especially loved all the little animals and all the songs. My mom got all teary at some points, and hugged me especially close, which I love.
So Mom tells us that Santa's coming in a few weeks! YAY! She says he'll have lots of presents for us!!! You know what Timmy's and my selfish wish is? It's to wade in a pool filled with kitty treats and food!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! Think Santa will get it for us? (Note from Bailey's Mom: Bailey!!! That's a horrible wish! Let's pray for peace on Earth, an end to cruelty to animals, spaying and neutering for all cats and dogs, and homes to all homeless animals!)
Back to Bailey:
Okay... I wish for all of those things, and I can certainly appreciate about homeless kitties, because Timmy was once one, but I still want my pool filled with food :D
Anyway, I want to run around with Timmy now. I'm restless and it's a beautiful sunny day :)
Happy holidays, everyone!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)
