Wow!!!
I've never been Diary of the Day!! What an honor!
Thank you everyone for writing, keep those friend requests, rosettes, and presents coming (note from Bailey's mom: BAILEY! That's selfish! Knock it off, you are NOT the center of the world, as you think you are here at home! Other kitties are just as deserving, and we don't ask for presents, people give when you deserve them!).
Okay... *sigh* well, keep those friend requests coming, one can never have too many friends :)
Anyway, we had an exciting day today, I had to write and let everyone know. Our friends, the turkey family, came to visit today! YAYAYAYAY! Timmy and I love to watch them! They are: Dad, Mom, and 5 babies! The babies are growing so fast, and Mom and Dad have been teaching them flying techniques, including a new one today -- landing on our family room roof! They land with thuds :) They're sooooooooo fun to watch!
My mom also brought some lobsters home. Unfortunately, they were not alive, so we couldn't play wiht them, so they were no fun. Mom let us taste them, but we weren't really that interested. We were, however, very interested in the 2 bags and 1 canister of kitty treats (we call them candies)... yum :)
So that was our exciting day!
Hugs and purrs,
Bailey

Hi Everyone!
Wow, I haven't written in over a year! I had a great third birthday (but no presents, I have *too many* toys) with a nice dinner and lots of kitty candies (kitty treats) for both me and Timmy. Basically not too much has changed from last year; Timmy's written more in his blog than I have, and most everything that he experienced, I experienced, too. Been extra loving, get lots of snuggles and kisses (I still smell like kisses all the time), basic Baileylicious cuteness :). In less than a week, we'll celebrate Timmy's living here for 3 years! Yay for Timmy!!! :)
Well, that's all from here, I want to go back to my little brown bed and sleep until bedtime :)
Hugs and purrs,
Bailey Boy

Hi everyone!
Mom's been so busy with work and life that she hasn't had a chance to update our diaries. I think she's only going to write mine for now though, and Timmy's at another point.
I get kissed so much (and of course I DEMAND them) that I smell like kisses :) It's not a bad thing, and I love to get kisses :)
Hmmm... what's new? Well, last month I was having trouble peeing, and my mom immediately brought me to the vet. It was determined that I didn't have a UTI, but rather, a very mild case of cystitis, which is inflammation of the bladder. I was treated with an anti-inflammatant, and now have to have some wet food every day. I love that part!!!!! We also put our Drinkwell fountain back in service, and Mom bought us a CatIT fountain! It's the neatest! Timmy loves it a lot :) It's a dome that water rides over. It's very cool, but I was a little afraid of it at first. Now, I drink from it all the time, and it has to be filled very frequently because we're keeping hydrated :)
That's what's new from here :)
Hugs and kisses,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
My mom's been super busy with work and playing with Timmy and me, that she hasn't had time to go onto Catster and update our pages!
We've had a lot of excitement these past few months. Mom celebrated having Timmy for a full year on August 11, and we celebrated having me for one year on October 6!!!
We also had a houseguest -- a mouse got into our Firevision! Timmy spotted it and got very excited! This happened during Columbus Day weekend. We don't know how the mouse got into the chimney, it has a cap on it so only smoke can exit. The chimney sweep man couldn't figure it out, either! So the gray mousie lived in our Firevision from Saturday until Monday night, and Timmy and I watched it, and Mousie watched us. Mom tried to catch it, but it jumped into the firewool to sleep. She also fed the mouse and gave it water, and on Monday night after work, she came home with a special clear plastic trap. Mom put a piece of a tortilla chip covered with peanut butter on it, and when it went into the trap, Timmy got excited and told Mom! So then, Mom put us in the family room and closed the door, and she let the mousie free outside. We were disappointed that it wasn't living with us anymore, but we understand it needed to be with it's family.
I went to the vet for my annual checkup. The doctor gave me medicine for my acne but like Stridex, it makes it worse so Mom stopped giving it to me. I weigh 12 pounds now, same as Timmy! Yay!
My mom got here super long hair cut off today... it has halfway down her back and now it's to her shoulders. It looks very different! She likes it a lot. Timmy kept smelling her and I kept wanting to snuggle (as usual) :)
That's it from here!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi everyone!
I had a GREAT first birthday!!!!!
My mom's friends came over to play with me and Timmy, and we loved that! We haven't seen them since I was very small, and it was so fun to see them! My big friend Tarl picked me up and loved me, and he fed me candies, and he played with my cat dancer, and he sang to me!
My other big friend, Cheryl, sang to me and played with me, too!
They also gave lovins to Timmy, and that was GREAT!
Then -- I got more presents!!!!!!!! So in addition to the really soft and cute lamby toy that I got last night, I got SIX tiny colored mousies, a new Cat Dancer (Timmy got one too), and we each got a neato plastic toy that smells like catnip, and is made to bat around. Mine is red and Timmy's is green! SUCH FUN STUFF!!!
After present time, Mom and her friends left for a few hours. Before they left, it started to rain and thunder and lightning. Mom and her friends saw a tree come down on the highway and they had just missed being hit. It was so scary she said.
After, they all came back, and Tarl held me and gave Timmy lovins, while they got ready to drive home to our cousins Pookie, Boo, and Sammie. They had to prepare because it was still raining, and they drove something called a motorcycle. Luckily, Mom moved her car out of the garage and had them put their motorcycle inside, so it wouldn't get wet.
So, that was my awesome birthday! I'll be sharing some duck and chicken Sheba with Timmy pretty soon for my birthday special dinner!! YAYAYAY!
I'm so excited! Being a baby kitten was a ton of fun, but I think being a year old will be even better!
Love,
Bailey the Birthday Boy! :)
PS: YAY to Tarl! YAY to Cheryl, YAY for presents! YAY for Timmy, YAY for my Mom! YAY to birthdays!!!!!!

Hi everyone!
I meant to write about 2 weeks ago, but I've been so busy playing with Timmy and gearing up for my birthday, that I haven't had time to look on Catster!
Two weekends ago, my mom did something so horrible, so unthinkable, so awful, that Timmy and I couldn't believe it.
OUR MOM LEFT US! FOR 2 WHOLE DAYS! She left early in the morning on a Saturday, and when she came back, she smelled like a strange kitty, a strange doggy, and a semi-familliar smelling doggy. She also smelled like our cousins Pookie and Boo (her friends cats). Annd, she smelled like wild animals, hay, snakes, other wild critters, wildflowers, and other unidentifiable things. I was so upset and angry with her, that I ignored her and didn't allow her to love me. Of course, my strategy worked, and my mom was devistated, but when it was bedtime, we made up, and I love her more than anyone, once again.
It turns out, that my mom went to her friends' farm in a place called Upstate New York. My mom's friend's parents and family live there along with their Rottweiler, Chopper, and their elderly kittyboy, Jasper. They brought Sammie the Corgi along for the trip.
We've had some pretty scary thunderstorms, along with an interesting thing called hail, and some very hot and humid weather.
Best of all, my birthday's in 3 more days! July 15!! YAYAYAYAY! My mom got so excited, that she made me my main birthday present 4 days early -- a homemade, handsewed fleece pillow! It's BEAUTIFUL! So, so, so, so soft. After I write this, I'm going to put my cute little head on it and go to sleep next to my mom :)
That's it from here, we need to go to sleep because tomorrow's a workday!
Love,
Bailey Boy -- the almost 1 year old Teeny Tiny!

Hi everyone!
We're now in the hot season, known as summer. I was born in the summer, and my mom tells me that in less than one month, I'll be 1 year old! If I'm a super good boy, Mom might throw me a birthday party! YAYAYAY! I know that this means presents and lots of yummy kitty candies!!!!!!! YAYAYAY!!
It's so hot out (Mom said it got to 90 degrees today and will be hotter tomorrow - supposed to be 96!), that my family turned on a funny thing. In our house, we have these circular vents in the ceilings. I've often wondered what they are. About an hour ago, strange whooshing noises started to come out, and now the house is super comfortable. The vents are still whooshing, but I feel so much better. Poor Timmy with his extra thick fur was really warm. My mom was so hot that she had what she calls "heat tummy." She was in the bathroom for a long time, and Timmy kept her company... he kind of regrets that decision :(
The neato thing about hot weather is that Timmy and I get to have refridgerated Sheba! We hardly ever get canned food, and the chilled Sheba is so refreshing and tasty! Yay for cold Sheba!
Tomorrow's a work day for my mom :( I hate it when she goes to work... she works 3 days a week, and it's hard for us to let her go. I try to keep her in our bed, and try to stop her from getting dressed and ready :( I'm being told it's sleepy time!
Huggies, kissies, and purrs,
Bailey Boy
PS: yay for cold Sheba and central air!

Buggies, buggies, buggies, buggies, buggies!!!
They're the COOLEST! Especially the humongus buggies that fly outside the windows! I wanna get them! I wanna beat them up! I wanna EAT them!
I tried to eat an ant last week, but Mom thought I was choking and pulled the ant out of my mouth. It was still alive. I couldn't figure out how to kill it! I wanted it! It was *mine!* Oh well. I saw a centipede (or was it a milipede?) the other day and wanted to play wiht it, but foiled again, by my mom.
Timmy and I love to watch and stalk spiders. We work together as a team, but we never seem to succeed in killing them. I wonder why?
Anyway, they're all so fun!
Hope you all enjoy buggies, too. I know my mom doesn't... she gets very upset with them. I don't know why, they're so darn facinating!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone,
It's been quite a while since I last wrote, but we've had some pretty big things happen, too!
Remember how I last wrote and said strange things were happening with our mattresses? Well, my mom and I got a brand new bed! It's so big, and soft, and comfy! We also got beautiful new blankets and sheets, too! I love snuggling in and on the new bed. Timmy likes to snuggle on it, too! He even sleeps with Mom and I occasionally, which is something he never did before! It's so exciting! A bad thing though - Timmy gets a little *too* comfy, so I have to kick him off the bed. Mom's calling me "Little Mr. King of the Bed." She doesn't mean it in a good way, either. She's lectured on how Timmy is completely allowed to be on the bed any time he wants and that I shouldn't monopolize. I disagree! It's *my* bed!
Timmy went to the vets' every day for over a week to get medicine for his tummy. He's 100% cured now, but a good benefit is that we still eat a serving of wet food mixed with yogurt, but just until the yogurt's finished. I LOVE yogurt! Tim doesn't finish all of his serving, so I get to finish it! Yay!
Not too much else to report. I've been snuggling with my mom a lot, lately. It's been cold and rainy, and it feels good to be in her arms. I love my mom so much!
Don't forget to sign my new guestbook, everyone!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone!
Today was like any other... Mom woke up, dressed, left for work. She came home, and my people had take-out food for supper, ate, watched a little TV, and then....
The mattress and box spring were moved out of the guestroom and brought downstairs to the foyer. Then, my people went to the spare room and put a mattress from there in the foyer, and swapped another part. After that, they washed the wood floor in the guestroom, and the worst part happened: My mom took apart OUR bed! Not Timmy's and my green snowflake kitty bed; MY MOM's AND MY BIG BED! Holy shamoly! I don't know what's happening but I don't like it one bit. Our bed was moved to the guestroom, and that's where Mom and I are right now. In her bed, that has been moved.
I'm glad my mom is here, but I seriously don't know what's going on, nor do I understand. One interesting thing that came about, Timmy and I got up on top of the mattresses while they were standing against the wall! It was so much fun! I was as high as the ceiling! To get down, Timmy and I slid down like the mattresses were either steep slides or ski slopes! Yay! We won't do it again though, once was enough.
Either me or Timmy will write more about what's going on tomorrow. Mom's sleepy and says she has to get up super early to meet the mattress men. What will they do with our mattresses?
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone!
It's very early in the morning on April 5, and IT'S SNOWING! YAYAYAYAYAY! It snowed yesterday, and then it stopped, and then it started again when Mom was watching a funny man named David Letterman on TV. It's been coming down very hard, and Mom pulled up the shade and turned on the outside light, and Timmy and I watched it! Since it hasn't been a snowy winter, we were so excited. Mom says that since it's April, we won't see too much snow until next winter. I wonder what kind of weather is next? I had my first autumn, my first winter, and now, my first spring!
A holiday called Easter is coming up, and Mom says the Easter Bunny gives presents to good kittyboys and kittygirls. She said he's great friends with Santa and the Tooth Fairy, and knows if we've been bad or good. I know we've been good (even though we've had bouts of naughtiness lately), because he brought us our Easter present several days early: A NEW SCRATCHING POST! Timmy and I couldn't believe it! It's HUGE! Super tall, doesn't fall over when we use it, and it has both carpet and a neato scratchy surface called sisal! We absolutely LOVE it! Mom'll take pix later.
So that's pretty much our big news. Mom says she wants me to turn the computer off, so I have to go to sleep.
Hugs,
Bailey Boy :)
PS: Yay for hte Easter Bunny! Yay for Timmy! Yay for snowflakes! Yay for my mom!

Hi Everyone,
Timmy and I are saddened to hear that our cousin Boo has taken ill. His people think he might be affected by the food recall. My mom is going to visit with him today and let us know what's going on.
Please join Timmy and I in praying for Boo's and all the kitties affected's health.
Love,
Bailey Boy

You might be wondering: "Bailey, what's up with the headlines?" Well, it's been a while since I last wrote, and I have some exciting news to report, that Timmy should write about in his diary, but he asked me to be the first to break the news: today, he played with toys, and he played with them EXACTLY like I do! This is seriously big stuff, folks. For a formerly abused cat who didn't have any toys (before he came to live with our mom) to feel comfortable to express himself by playing with soft toys, it's a huge thing.
He played with a green fluffy mousie that Mom got him before I came along, which he formerly showed no interest with, and he played with a funky soft, squishy, spikey ball. If/when Timmy plays, he does so with our chewed up peacock feathers, or he'll bat a bottle ring for 2 seconds. This is such great news!
I'm so proud of Timmy. He knows how loved he is here, and feels so happy!
What else to report? Oh yeah, Mom gave me something new today: lamb. I LOVED it! She only gave me a tiny bit; she didn't want me getting sick. Also, Timmy and I learned how to use the scanner today. It was fun listening to the funny noises and watching the monitor.
Dr. Englehardt called last week to find out how my bad breath is, and since Mom thought it still smelled, I had a visit with him. I hate how he sticks that thermometer up my bum :( He thinks my teeth and gums look great, and htat I'm just going to be one of those kitties with stinky breath. It's really not that bad. I also am up to 10.5 pounds!!!! Can you believe it? He also said that I no longer have to eat baby kitten food because I'm a big boy of 8 months now. So long, kitten food! Hello 100% grown-up food! Mom's happy because now she only has to buy 1 type of food for us.
That's it from here, Timmy wrote about how Mom hates her job and wants to go back to teaching, so I'll let you read about it there. No need to reiterate. We're always there to comfort her.
Love,
Bailey Boy :)
Yay for Timmy! Yay for Faceless Mousies!

Hi Everyone!
Guess what? Mom took me on mystery ride! I got into my favorite soft carrier, and off we went, into the car! I thought we were going to go to the vet's, because every time we go for a car ride, that's where we go.
Not this time! We took a much longer car ride. I cried a little, but not too much. We went really fast in the car, just like when I first came home to live here with my family. Finally, we got there. I was a little nervous, because I saw a lot of people and their dogs, and I thought this was a new kind of vet. I'm not sick! Why was I going? I saw people pushing strange things, and lots of parked cars, and big glass doors that opened when we walked in.
I was very confused. Soooo many people! So many dogs! No kitties! People peeked into my carrier and exclaimed, "oh my god, there's a cat in there! Isn't he cute?" OF COURSE I'M CUTE! I'm Bailey Boy! Strange people let me smell their hands and wanted to pet me, but Mom wouldn't let them touch me.
WOW, I've never seen so many kitty treet packages, and toys! Boy howdy! This was like a dream come true! Mom bought a ginormous kitty treet package. We looked at toys, too. So many people came to talk to us because I'm so unusual, and they were suprised as to how well behaved I was, and how quiet and inquisitive.
After a while, we went home. I was really quiet in the car, and Mom opened the kitty treet bag, and I had some. That was fun :)
When I got home, Timmy wanted to know all about my adventure, and he had some kitty treets, too. I'm glad to be home. I wish Timmy came with us, but the two of us couldn't fit in the soft carrier together. Mom says Timmy might get to go another time, but I'll have to stay home.
So that was fun! M0m'll take me again sometime, I'm sure!
Yay for PetSmart!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Such strangeness! My CFA registration certificate came in the mail today, and when I read it, I saw my name is now E-Burm's Bailey Boy! I thought my name was just Bailey... wassup, Mom?
Well, Mom explained to me that my name *IS* Bailey, but my fancy pedigree name is E-Burm's Bailey Boy. It was originally supposed to be just E-Burm's Bailey, but Mom thought it was cuter to add the whole thing, and she spoke with our breeder-mom, who thought it was cute, too. So it was decided that's what it will be :) I'm called Bailey Boy all the time, so now the whole world will know it's not really a nickname.
Oh and I'm 10 pounds now!!! I'm a brick wrapped in silk! My juvenile gingivitis is completely gone and my mouth smells good and tastes much better! Yay! And no more pouch food. I miss it. It tasted super yummy, but I know it wasn't good for my teeth. Mom says we'll get it once in a while as a treat, and when we have to take medicine, but that's it. Maybe once a month, she said.
Not too much else to report... I've been getting into a lot of trouble because I'm entering adolescence and being really testy and extra bratty. Timmy seems really happy that I'm only 2 pounds lighter (and still growing) than he is; it's fairer when we wrestle :)
Thanks to everyone who wrote in regarding my dove coo purrs :) I think it's great I sound like my biological mother :)
Anyway, I've been running after Timmy like a crazycat and I want to take a nap with Mom, and later with Timmy in his green bed.
Love,
Bailey Boy

Hi everyone,
Once in a while, it snows for a little bit. The flakes are pretty. I love to watch, especially at night. Mom opens the shade, turns on the outside light, and Timmy and I sit on top of the scanner and the computer monitor and watch! It's so pretty. Mom says it's too cold for a Teeny-Tiny like me to go outside, especially since I have no sweaters and she doesn't know how to knit :( I'll appreciate it from inside :)
Timmy got a pretty new bed from Santa over the weekend. It's soft, green, and has beautiful white snowflakes all over it! Yay for snowflakes! The bed is so much fun. I love to bite it and kick it, and beat it up! I also love to carry it around from place to place. I'm not really into sleeping in it, but when Timmy's in it, I sometimes will join him in it, and we'll snuggle.
We think my purr is really beginning to change. This morning, I was in Mom's bed being happy and cute, and purring away (I love it when she wakes up, but I hate that she has to leave and go to work), and my purr was starting to sound like a dove's coo. I was also doing it when I jumped on her lap when she was on the people potty :) I've been doing it for several weeks when I'm purring and someone hugs me, but this time I was just relaxing and doing it. At first, it kind of shocked me, and I tried to stop purring, but I was so happy and relaxed that I couldn't make myself stop. My biological mommy had this kind of purr, too. If anyone's reading this and they or their kitty has this unusual purr, could you please write us and let us know when it started?
That's all for now :)
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi everyone,
for the past few weeks, my life has been dreadful. "Why has it been dreadful, Bailey?" you ask.
Well, my original Faceless Mousie (Faceless #1, or F1), went missing. I was miserable. I looked all over the house, in every nook, cranny, crevice, and room. My people earnestly looked every day, even moving furniture and opening the sofabed (which I am told, they haven't done for several years)! I moped around, played with toys I've never played with or shown little interest with. I mourned day and night for my Faceless Mousie.
One day, My mom brought home a dolly that sort of looked like my Faceless Mousie, and that became Faceless #2. I really liked it, but alas, it too, became lost. That said, Mom's dad brought me home a dolly almost exactly like F1, but it was a different color and brand new, so it didn't smell or feel like mine, which had years of play from our late sort-of Great Great Grandmother, Cassie. It's nice, but not the original. It became F3. The other day, F2 was found and joined F3, and I was happy to have 2 similar-to F1's, which was cool, but of course, I've never forgotten my special Faceless Mousie :)
IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES, I HAVE FOUND FACELESS DOLLY #1!!!!!!!!!!! Don't ask where, don't ask how, it just showed up! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm typing with it right now! It smells like me! It feels great! It's missing fur because I pull it out! It's MINE! It's the ORIGINAL!
Yay for Faceless Mousies 1,2, and 3!!! A SPECIAL YAY for F1!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

YAY! We got some of our presents from Santa!!!! I got TWO new faceless mousies - one from Santa, and one from the Tooth Fairy!!!! YAY!!!! I also got some pretty velvet mousies (2 for me, 2 for Timmy!) YAY!!!
I lost more teeth, and I lost one yesterday that Mom can give the Tooth Fairy! I wonder what I will get for it? I hope I get a new tiny white fake mouse, because mine's all yucky (but still fun!).
Mom's dad took me to the vet yesterday because my URI didn't go away, but the vet said I sound MUCH better than I did in November, and I have something called "juvenile gingivitis," which makes my mouth taste and smell awful. I'm taking yucky medicine for that, which I'm giving Mom a hard time taking. I was so upset Mom couldn't take me to the vet, but she had to go to work. I really don't like having a thing stuck in my bum. The vet said it was to take my temperature but I'm not impressed.
I'm feeling much better, especially since the vet said my heart murmur is gone, and that my lungs sound clear (unlike before), and my sinuses don't sound bad. YAYAY! I almost have a clean bill of health!! The best part though, is I am now 7.75 pounds!!!!!! I have to go back in 2 weeks just to make sure the mouth infection is gone. I bet it will be, and then I won't have to go back for another year!!! YAY! It's not that I don't like going to the vet's, I just don't like the thing in the bum.
Time to snuggle with Timmy by the Firevision!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone,
The other day, Timmy and I watched "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" on tv with my mom. It's her favorite Christmas show! I'm not too sure what Christmas is, and Timmy says he's not too sure either, because he was 1 month old last year, and still with his kitty mommy and siblings (Note from Bailey's Mom: I'm HOPING Timmy was with his kitty mom! We don't know of course, because Tim came to us at the age of 9 months from the humane society). Anyway, it was a GREAT show! Timmy and I especially loved all the little animals and all the songs. My mom got all teary at some points, and hugged me especially close, which I love.
So Mom tells us that Santa's coming in a few weeks! YAY! She says he'll have lots of presents for us!!! You know what Timmy's and my selfish wish is? It's to wade in a pool filled with kitty treats and food!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!! Think Santa will get it for us? (Note from Bailey's Mom: Bailey!!! That's a horrible wish! Let's pray for peace on Earth, an end to cruelty to animals, spaying and neutering for all cats and dogs, and homes to all homeless animals!)
Back to Bailey:
Okay... I wish for all of those things, and I can certainly appreciate about homeless kitties, because Timmy was once one, but I still want my pool filled with food :D
Anyway, I want to run around with Timmy now. I'm restless and it's a beautiful sunny day :)
Happy holidays, everyone!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Note from Bailey's mom: we found a fang on the floor!!! I put it in a Ziplock bag, and we're awaiting the Tooth Fairy to come. I have it on good authority that she and Santa Claws are verrrrrrryyy good friends, so I think they're working together to get Bailey something nice, though it might be after Christmas :)
From Bailey: What's the Tooth Fairy? Who's Santa? Will I like them? I bet I will! I've heard they do nice things for good kittyboys :) I'm a good kittyboy :)

Bailey Boy

Guess what, everyone???
Mom looked in my mouth just now and she discovered that I have lost one of my baby canine (fang) teeth, and am cutting one of my grown-up fangs!!!!!!!!!!!! What exciting news!!! I have a few grown-up teeth, but this is big stuff! Wow! Mom's sad because she doesn't know where my teethies that have fallen out have gone. I think I've swallowed them :( I haven't lost too many teeth yet, but it's happening!!
yay for grown-up teeth! I'll be like Timmy soon :) :) :) in the big teeth department!!!!!

Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
I hope all you kitties and people have had a great Thanksgiving!
I've got so much to say, since I haven't written in almost 2 weeks!
Mom's friends came to visit me and Timmy, and I had the greatest time. I love my new friend Tarl, he's such a great guy. He wanted to take me home in his jacket, and I didn't mind. He gave me a new nickname that everyone is now calling me: "Chief." It sooooooooooooo fits me! Mom was calling me the director, but we like my new one better. Hail to the Chief! Yay!
I'm no longer taking my yogurt/Amoxi-drop smoothies. I was getting tired of them, and I finished the bottle, so that's all gone. Mom still thinks I have the URI because I'm still sneezing, but I seem to be feeling a lot better, so that's good.
A festival called Thanksgiving happened last week. My mom was busy baking and cooking, and the whole house smelled so yummy that I wanted to try everything! I did get my own plate of turkey, which is a lot like chicken but waaaaayyy yummier, and I enjoyed it so much that I pigged out on Timmy's portion! He wasn't happy about that, and every time Mom wanted to hand feed him away from me, I ran over and tried to eat his turkey! Mom was very angry with me, and her mom gave me a second plateful to keep me away from Timmy's. (Note from Bailey's mom: Timmy did get some turkey)
We've been watching Firevision a fair bit, but it's been warm so we haven't had it in a few days. I love helping Mom put up the fire and shred the newspaper to help her get it ready to crumple :)
I think that pretty much covers the last 2 weeks :)

Bailey Boy

...I'm getting tired of taking the yogurt/Amoxi-drop smoothies everyday. Mom said Iwas supposed to take it for 10 days, but it feels like forever, and I overheard her talking to the vet's office on the phone and she said "okay, so he'll finish the bottle." So I don't know when we'll be finished!
I met a new friend yesterday! A strange man named Nick came to our house and played with the Firevision! I didn't see him do that, but Timmy watched him. I was in Mom's room and I was dying to get out to meet him! So, Mom took me out and I wanted to jump into Nick's arms. Mom says he's a chimney sweep. She says he cleans the chimney so that we can watch Firevision throughout the autumn and winter! YAY! I asked Nick if he'd hold me, and he picked me up and loved me. He told us that he has a kitty named Jack, who was a lot like Timmy, but a little older. He needs a kitty brother too, so Mom told him all about integrating a kitten with a 1 year old cat. YAY! Mom was so nervous about me and Timmy, but we love each other so much that she's no longer worried. Now that Mom's set Nick at ease, he and his girlfriend will get another kitty! YAY!
I can't wait to meet more new people! Mom says her best friends will be coming over on Saturday. Timmy said that when he met them, they smelled like 2 cats and a dog, and he was kinda repulsed by the dog smell... My breeder had 2 dogs, so I'm not too concerned. Plus, all people are good people! (Note from Bailey's Mom: European Burmese trust ALL people and animals)
What else to report? Oh, I tried a new canned food: Science Diet Chicken and Liver for kittens! It's AWESOME!!! I love it! I don't like the Science Diet Oceanfish squares in gravy though. That's not that great and it makes my tummy upset. I also love the Nutro in pouches, and the Iams kitten food in pouches. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
Okay. Time to throw myself at Mom and snuggle.
Love,
Bailey Boy

Hi Everyone,
Well, the visit wasn't what I expected. When I first got there, everyone was facinated with me. They had never seen a European Burmese before, and thought I was sooooooooooooooooooo cute and snuggly and sweet (which I am), and one of the vet techs decided to take me out of my carrier and snuggle me, which I really liked. Then a family with 2 kids came, and the little daughter thought I was like a toy, and stuck her hand in my carrier. I didn't mind, I like attention, but Mom told her to let me smell her hand first. Then, a lady and her two "Yorkies" came in, and they ran around the waiting room. One kept saying "hello" to me. They were a little bigger than me, but smaller than Timmy. I wonder what they were? Mom says they're dogs. I'm not so sure!
Anyway, the doctor called us into the exam room, and let me out of hte carrier. Then, the male vet tech scooped me up and they looked at my eyes, in my mouth, in my ears... then, the REAL violation began. They stuck a thing in my bum! They said they wanted to take my temperature! After, they kept trying to put a NEEDLE in my arm! so THAT"S what a shot is!!! They're awful! I can't believe Timmy likes to go to the vet! They tried to give me the yummy kitty treats that Timmy told me about but I was so upset I couldn't eat them, and then they gave me a mousie doll that came home with me, but I want no part of it. It reminds me of the shot. They found out that I have a slight but very minor heart murmur, which I should grow out of, and that as Mom suspected, a mild upper respiratory infection. I get to take Amoxi-Drops with yogurt!!! YAY!! it's soooooooooooooo yummy!!!!!!! I like medicine time!
Well, I'm getting sleepy and I know Mom is too, so we're going to go to bed. Nighty night, everyone!
Love,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone,
My mom has been telling me for a few days now, that I'm going to the vet! I went to the vet once, when I was still with my brothers and sisters, and my brothers and I were brought to get "neutered." I don't remember very much about the experience, except that my brother George cried in the car. I wonder what's going to happen at the vet? I've been sneezing a lot, and mom says I need more shots. What's a shot? Have I had it before? Do I like it? I hope it's not scary. Mom says I've had shots before, but she doesn't know
what happened, because it was at our breeder's. Frankly, I'm a little nervous about the whole thing, but since Mom's going to be there, I think I'll be fine. Timmy has been telling me about the vet's office. He's been there twice; once for his "I've been adopted from the Humane Society, well kitty checkup," and once just before I came home to get his nails cut. He won't let Mom cut his nails, but I do. He says the people at the vet's are super nice, and he loves the vet tech. He said our vet gave him lots of "good kitty" treats and that she kept shoveling them in his mouth, and that they tasted extra yummy! I wonder if she'll give me the extra yummy treats, too?
I'll write more after my visit to let everyone know what happened.
Kitty kisses,
Bailey Boy

Hi everyone,
I've been living here for 3 weeks now, and I'm completely settled in! I love Timmy soooooooo much, and I've gained enough confidence to initiate play with him! We're inseperable and love to snuggle. I'm not too sure why he won't let me suckle though... my littermates and I always used to do that, because our mommy was in heat and our breeder wouldn't let us nurse when Mommy was in heat. My sisters got very sick from the heat-milk, but they recovered :)
So much to say, so sleepy... Oh, Mom went to another cat show yesterday and brought back a ton of peacock feathers! She got the good kind that are very long. Timmy and I love to chew on the shafts, they're so crunchy and crispy :) We don't eat them though. At the cat show, Mom met the human mom of my uncle Zen! Zen is Mommy's brother. He wasn't there, but his adopted little sister Sabrina, a blue tortie, was there being shown. She's about a week older than I am, and looks like Mini-Mommy. My biological Mommy is a blue tortie; sooooo beautiful :) Mom says I kind of look like her, but I'm red, of course. She says she can see Mommy in my face and body. She also saw Maryellen, our breeder!!!! Yay!!! She was so excited to see her and gave her a report about how I'm doing. I sneeze a lot but I have no boogers, so we're not sure what's up with that. I'll be going to the vet in about 2 weeks for my shots, so we'll find out then. I'm completely healthy otherwise, I eat like a pig (so Mom says), drink my water, and play a LOT.
Oh, this past week, we had a houseguest! My mom's aunt! She's a super-nice lady who loves kitties to pieces and has a Siamese named ChiChi. She's had lots and lots of kitties, so she knows a lot about kitty psychology and said Timmy and I are a GREAT match. We know that :) She also has a fantastic lap to sit in, and gives good skritchees. She left on Friday. I miss her, but know she needs to get back to ChiChi.
Well, it's time for bed, Mom wants me to log off so that she can turn off the computer and go to sleep. She has to wake up to go to work :( I wish she could stay home with me and Timmy, but she says she needs to make money in order to pay the vet, buy us food and toys, and other things.
Kitty hugs,
Bailey Boy :)
PS: Yay for Timmy! Yay for Bailey! Yay for Iams canned kitten food! Yay for Purina ONE crunchy kitten food! Yay for my faceless mousie! Yay for my Mom!

Hi Everyone,
I've been here for two whole weeks today! YAY! Timmy and I are really getting along very well, and yesterday, we were left home all by ourselves for almost 2 hours! YAY! We were good kittyboys and didn't do anything naughty.
Timmy and I love to chase each other, wrestle, touch noses and say "I love you," and lots of other fun kitty stuff. We love each other so much and Timmy told me that he doesn't know how he got along without me!
Our other favorite thing to do is to sit in the bathtub and drink from the tap together :)
I really enjoy both the computer and the tv. Right now, I'm in Mom's left arm so she can't type with one hand very well, and she;s telling me to wrap it up.
More later!
Kitty kisses,
Bailey Boy :)

Hi Everyone,
My name is E-Burm's Bailey, but you can call me Bailey, or Bailey Boy. My mom also likes to call me "teeny-tiny," because I'm so cute and tiny. 3442qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqggggh.
Oh, btw, I really love the computer and I typed that. Anyway, I'm full of energy, and full of fun, and I love to play with my big brother, Timmy! YAY for Timmy! Mom didn't think things were working out between us on Monday night and got scared that Timmy would hurt me, so in frustration, she put Timmy up for adoption on here (don't tell him I know). Everything's getting better, so she took that down. I'm teaching Timmy how to do lots of important things, like sitting on people's laps and enjoying the comfort of the furniture (beds and couches) where our people are. See, I HAVE to sleep with people. It's part of what my breed does. I also HAVE to sit on people. Again, it's what my breed does. Timmy wasn't socialized properly when he was my age, and he doesn't understand that furniture and people are to be enjoyed by kitties! I also teach Timmy how to have proper litter box ettiquette. He doesn't cover his pee, so I cover it for him, and he watches. Maybe he'll get it.
I have so much to say, but Mom says that because I typed a lot here, we'll have to have another entry tomorrow or later.
As Timmy says: "Yay for Timmy! Yay for Bailey!"
More later,
Bailey Boy
