The Center of it All

They changed it!

They moved my furniture around quite a bit here lately. I am not pleased with the changes, I don't think.
Well, maybe I like them a little, I have more ways to get into my favorite lookout spot, and the dog won't be able to get to my bed area supposedly.

Mother caught Nyx sneaking bites of my food, and it's not allowed near my bowl without the Mother or Father present.

It's cold here, and I have many warm laps to steal for my naps. I love winter, but I miss watching the birds.

It returns

It returned home yesterday, hyper and happy.

I have taken refuge in my chambers, only to discover that it, the dog, my sister, has access to them through some quirk of fate.

However I find that it prefers to stay in the living room and is largely leaving me alone. Perhaps this is not so bad as that.

and they look tired and worn out.

However, I find that they are more than happy to give me attention right now.

They inform me that the upstart Nyx will return later today. I shall have to prepare certain traps for the creature. After my nap.

Mischief from the subjects

It would appear that my servants, i.e. my mother and father, are preparing for a trip. Will this mean riding in the car?
I suppose that I might be amenable to it.

Or will it mean being left at home for a few days with almost no one around?
With no one to give me my proper belly-rubs?

Oh, well, more naptime for me. And that means the dog will be sent to this place that mom calls the "doggy hotel." The house will be mine!

Except for if they have people coming to check on me - my aunt and uncle might be able to give me attention with the appropriate deference. maybe.

Day 1

I see my mother has placed a photo of one of my private moments with the mouse online for all of you to see. I shall punish her appropriately tonight - by waking her ten minutes after she has truly fallen asleep.

I also note that she continues to fraternize with strange stray felines - feeding them, petting them, taking care of them. I have yet to come up with a punishment for her adultery that is appropriate.
