indoors Arrival Story: On Saturday, September 2, 2006, I heard some kids playing outside so I looked out the bedroom window. Two kids were trying to catch her to stuff her in a trap left out for the armadillos that dig in the dirt underneath the bushes at the apartment complex. I had seen her a couple of days before on Thursday evening hanging around the cars in the parking lot and I thought maybe she was someone else's kitten since she was so friendly. But her paws were really dirty and she was also quite skinny and you could see her hip bones somewhat. I brought her in and I fed her some food, but she didn't seem to be very hungry. The other cats were hissing at her, so I let her back out. I didn't see her on Friday before I left for work that afternoon. So when I saw that the kids were trying to stuff her into the trap, I ran outside and grabbed her and took her inside. They had also squirted her back legs and tail with some glue/caulk left behind by the workers who had been renovating the outside of the buildings. She is such a sweet and friendly kitten. She must have lived with a family who had kids. She's not scared of much and she thinks she is the queen of the house already; she has taken to the other cats very well. She has the longest tail! I hadn't had a black and white longhair since Kiki passed away, so I have one again! : ) She has such an attitude we named her after Samantha's daughter Tabitha on the old television series "Bewitched." She wants to be the alpha cat of the house! Meowmie and dad put up the Christmas tree last week. Meowmie put the unbreakable ornaments near the bottom and she added some pretty red garland. Every time Meowmie hears a jingle jingle, it's me climbing in the tree. Meowmie didn't put all of the ornaments up though. But she was in a good mood last night and she was going to put up the rest of the ornaments and she started straightening up the pretty red garland (for the third time)! She didn't even finish straightening up the garland and she gave up, so the tub of ornaments is still on the floor in the living room. The tree is leaning too and meowmie had to put the angel bear tree topper back on. Oh well, she didn't get too mad. She thinks it's kinda cute and she added two pics to my page. Check 'em out! Well kitties, I have been in my new home for almost 8 weeks now (will be 8 wks. on October 28). I have some great brothers and sisters. I like to knead on Gimli's Camo Monkey while he's looking and I think Kahlan likes having a younger sister to play with. I think Isis kinda likes me. She doesn't chase after me or run away when she sees me. She just hisses a little. I like play-fighting with Nigel. He taught me some good moves! I think he likes having a kitten in the house again to play with. I love the kitty tower and I like to play in boxes. I am a good kitty and I haven't had even one bathroom accident since I have been here. Mom and dad says that I'm the most normal cat in the house! MOL My fur is getting longer and I am getting bigger!
