Arrival Story:
Chrissy is another foster from the local animal shelter. She and her sister are the only ones out of 7 to survive. Chrissy's adoption is pending. Let's all cross our paws that the lady brings her card by the shelter to adopt her, if not that's 10 days she can't be adopted because someone didn't bring the card in. She may have been adopted today, but I will try to go by tomorrow.

Chrissy Looooooves attention loves to be played with:D She is up for adoption we just got her off of the bottle but she's taking the milk out of a bowl now and is good to go! :Update: Chrissy is completely off milk and is on solid food now. She is from a local shelter here in TN. If you are interested in adopting her pmail me because she's at my house rather than being at the shelter. (Thanks Orca)

Well we're gonna try the whole PetSmart deal again. HOPEFULLY she will go out to a family fast so she doesn't have to be in that cage for long. She's used to having a room to herself (plus sis) so she probably won't take the downsize very well. She has calmed down considerable although she still likes to attack ankles and climb legs. Though, I have to say, she's gotten better because she doesn't get you with her claws fully out so it doesn't hurt :) Anyways Purr-ay that she gets adopted!

Well I have some bad news on Chrissy.... I went by the PetSmart to see her today and she wasn't there....her cage card wasn't there, nothing. So we asked one of employees there if she had been adopted or brought back or what. They said that she and her sister had a URI...which I thought impossible since she had only been around other cats maybe 3 days if that. So I called the shelter and they said that they did have Chrissy and her sister and they DID have a URI. Great. Now she's sick. This weekend is the actual grand opening for the petsmart and that place will be FULL of people so the chances of her getting adopted would've have been SOO high. But yah...I have Chrissy and her sister who we've decided to name Autumn but i'm working on getting her page up now.

I went and checked on Chrissy today at the new kennels and she is still there. The PetSmart she's at is having there grand-opening this weekend so hopefully she will get adopted this week. I was very excited to see that she was put in with her sister who she hasn't been with since she was about 2 weeks old and they are getting along great! I will update as soon as I know anything more
