Arrival Story:
On Monday, September 18th, 2006, he was found newborn, orphaned, and already cold, with 3 siblings (one of them already dead), and brought to the animal crew that I work on. He was always the strongest and most vocal of the bunch, and we figured that he and Opal would make it.
Bio:
Opal died on Thursday, September 21st, of pnemonia, which made me fearful for him and Starla since it's so contagious. On Friday, September 21st, he and Starla were brought to the vet because Starla was fading fast. Starla had to be euthanized, but they said that Palidan is thriving, and should survive and live to be a healthy adult if we keep caring for him the way we are.
Addition 9/25/06- Palidan died of pnemonia on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006. He started developing symptoms, went down, and died within a few hours. It came as quite a shock to everyone because he was doing so well and seemed healthy before that
