Arrival Story:
Feral is actually my sister's cat. They live in San Jose, CA and we despritely need to find him a new, loving home. Feral does not get along with the two dogs that also live in the house, he is quite scared of them. My sister and her husband have had Feral since he was a kitten and have loved him the entire time (they still do). However, Feral refuses to come inside the house and is currently living in their garage (no cars are kept in there, just the laundry room and storage). They are getting ready to remodel their house and need to find him a new home soon. They do not want to take him to a shelter for fear he will be euthanized if he doesn't get adopted. They have tried everything and haven't had any luck for over 2 years. Feral has run away from home a few times b/c of the dogs and they have been able to hold onto him this last year by keeping him in the garage. He has a cat door in case he wants to come inside, but one of the dogs always seems to be around when Feral ventures inside and she seems a little too interested in him for anyone's liking. My sister and her husband have put the dogs outside and tried to coax Feral to come inside but he still refuses. Please don't judge them for they really have tried to get everyone to get along.

Bio:
Feral is an extremely affectionate cat who needs a good, preferably dog-free home. He grew up with another cat and should be fine in a multiple cat household, as long as he can get adequate attention. He is 10 years old and in very good health, there is no reason why he won't live another 10 years. Please don't let his age dissuade you from considering him. I would take Feral myself if I didn't already have 3 cats of my own. I live in an apartment and am currently in college so I'm not in any position to take on another cat. Please send me a pmail if you are interested and we can move on from there. Thanks!!
