Arrival Story: Piedmont is one of my FeLv positive foster cats. They have their own space in the house. Piedmont was rescued by one of our donors from Cincinnati. She couldn't put him down, so she fostered him until we had a space here.

Bio: Piedmont lives with two WWF wrestling cats. They are loud, crude, rude, and like to tumble around a lot in play fighting. Piedmont is the Gentleman in the group. He is quiet, reserved, polite. He also moves in slow-motion when he plays. We have to let him catch the toy or he never would. He loves to be petted, but is still not certain of being held. He has the most beautiful light green eyes.

Update: Piedmont died today, 2/20/2007. He had a tumor that was secondary to lymphoma (which is more common in FeLv positive kitties). We are devastated at his loss.

Note:: Before requesting me as a friend, you should know that our family is very pro-rescue and pro-spay/neuter. My mommy runs an animal rescue (www.hollys.org), so it is important that only people who are friendly to that are on our friends list. Thank you for understanding!

I was met at the bridge by Simba and the other FeLv kitties I knew. For the last two years of my life on earth I lived with Leo and Penelope. Within a couple of months of my death, Leo also passed away. Penelope stopped doing as well when that happened. But she held out nearly two months before she finally passed. All three of us are together at the Bridge now along with all the other FeLv kitties from Holly's Place. Here, there is not cancer or anemia or any of the other problems we had on earth.
