Life is good for me...

Hi, catster cats. It's Ashton. I am just sitting down checking out what all my friends have been up to. Wow, lots of my friends are getting so big. I'm big too though,..I guess us kittens grow up fast.

Mom got another baby kitten and this one is a girl. She's real cute but kinda snobby. There are 4 of us now. It's catrazy around here and I heard mom mention us being quite a lot to handle, bur she loves us sooooo much that she will just handle it. I try to be good, but sometimes I just have to be bad.

Chase and Max are great,..we are all best buds and have lots of fun.

All in all,..life is good.

You won't belive it!

That's right. You will not belive all that has happened since I got to write last.

First - Mommy got us neutered a few day beflore Christmas. It was horrible! I hated the carrier mommy put us in for the car ride and I made sure to let her know with my meows. Mom left us at the doctor all day long. I don't remember much there, excep that I was very tired and felt a little funny. I justmostly was scared to be in this big place without mommy. I was tired for a few days after, but I got better. Chase is just a complete show off - he acted like nothing even happened.

Mommy brought us a brother home from the shelter. He is a tiny little brother and he is all black with huge eyes. Don't tell him I said so, but he is alittle funny looking to me. Me and Chase were not happy to see him, because this is our house and we don't allow new kitties. Mommy didn't know that and I forgive her now. Chase was so mad that he even scared me, but now Chase and Max are inseperable. He's such a case!

Oh, we also got a HUGE package in the mail yesterday. Mom bought us an 8 foot Armakat tree and it ROCKS! There are tons of perches, houses, levels, etc..it's just catrazy!

Whistle and I'll come running....

That's right, I love whistling. Mom just realized exactly how much. No matter where I am in the house, if anyone whistles, I will come running and jump in their lap and start to purr and talk like crazy!

Mom says I'm so silly and that she has never heard of anything like that.

Well, other than that, I am still playing with all my goodies from my secret kitty. I also got to test mommy's patience (she failed) when she was wrapping presents. He He...

Mommy couldn't wait to let us open our Secret Santa gifts.- We sure love mommy!!

You heard me right, mommy let us open our secret kitty gifts today from the 2006 Holiday Gift Exchange Group we're in @ Catster. We got the package last night and mom told the group that although everyone can open right away, she was going to make us wait. Wait, she did not do and we love her for it!

First, this afternoon, she said, " OK Ashton, you can open just one gift". A little later, she said "OK, since you asked so nice, here is one more", and even later in the day still (like 10 min later) she said "well, you might as well open all of them right?" Too catrazy!

We had so much fun opening our gifts and it only took a few gifts for us to realize that when mommy opened the wrapping paper, there was going to be something fun in there for us - as she would open them , we would stare in great anticipation.

We received the following very fun toys:

Birds of a tether wind up ball toy, which is a ball with a stick that attaches to the ball and has a feather on top. You can wind up the ball and the stick part goes around and around. It is maddening and we love it!

A red velvet catnip (strong catnip, yess!) mouse. I couldn't wait to hug it and bite it and hug it and bite it and.well, you get the point....

A cat teaser toy with a long, fluffy purple and white feather. Chase grabbed this before I could play with it and growled for this first time. Mom wondered why he did that. He wasn't aggressive or anything, but he was growling when it was in his mouth. I guess he likes it, huh?! I finally got my try at it. Mommy ran around the house with it and had me leaping and doing 360's. Then I got tired and laid on it and licked it clean. I love this toy.

A gift pack of cool balls in many different textures, little mice that are so tiny and tempting. They have little balls in them and nice long tails!

A red and white cat collar with bells. I'm not sure what to think of this. I try to get the bells, but I can't. Chase asked mommy to take it off him, but mommy was laughing so hard at the way he was jumping around, trying to get the bells, that she didn't hear him. That made me laugh too!

Chicken flavored grass goodies. Yummmmmy and they are good for us.

We also got another ball with neat spiky type fabric on it, kind of like sisal and maybe best of all, were the 2 ornaments that had our very own names on them! That was special for all of us.

Our Secret Kitty has more than blessed us and we can't describe just how much we appreciate her. We know who she is, but are sworn to secrecy until December 18th.

Thank You Secret Santy Paws!

Yahoo,..I got my gift today from the 2006 Holiday exchange I am in here at Catster!! We have to wait to open, but we wanted to let our secret kitty know that we got the gift and we are so excited to see what's inside!!

We did get to open the box and we so happy about the ornaments that were left unwrapped so we can put them on our tree. We got one for me and one for Chase - they say our names!! This is our first Christmas and those are our first personal ornaments!! That is so awesome!

We took pics and put them on our group picture stroll - 2006 Holiday Exchange.

Happy, Happy - I am Happy!

I'm so excited about all the fun stuff going on in this house. This "Christmas" holiday has got to be one of the very best holidays ever! We have been making cookies, listening to fun music, mommy wears a funny snowman hat and BEST OF ALL - We have a real live Christmas tree in our own living room! Catrazy, I know - but it's true!

Mommy is getting crabby with us, because we are in to everything. I like to play w/ the tree and play in the garbage. I like to jump on the kitchen table and try to lick mommy's dinner plate - these are all things I enjoy, so I wish she would be more fair!

Chase is good, but he is a spaz sometimes. Technically he is older, but we all know who is smarter!

Finally, it's my turn to use the computer..

Between mommy and Chase, I am lucky if I get to get time to play here on Catster. I think mommy felt bad when she realized that she is kind of hogging the computer, so she said I can use it all night if I wanted. Chase had a hissy fit about that, but what's new.

Gosh, I have sooooo much to tell. For one, I'm not an itty bitty kitten anymore. I can do big kitty things now with no problem. I can run really fast, maybe I'm even the fastest cat ever, I'm not sure. I can also climb fast and high, even though mommy says I need to catch my falls better. I agree and I'm working on it.

Chase already got to tell everycat, but we got a very tall cat tree last weekend. It has lots of levels and has cool rope that I like to swing at and bite.

We still have to stay in our kitty room at night. Mom says that we are just too wild at night and she needs to get her rest. I guess I don't understand mommy sometimes. She must miss us when we are in our room because she comes in late at night just to pet us and give us those slobbery kisses. If she just let us out at night, we could give her lots and lots of kitty kisses.

Lastly, I want to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to everycat here at Catster! Do your best to sneek some turkey and something sweet.

Halloween Bash 06 Catster Contest

Yippee! Mommy put me in a funny pumpkin candy bag and entered me in the Halloween Bash 06 Catster Contest. There were lots of winners and very cool prizes.

Great constumes everyone and thanks to all of the prize donators and voters.

First Shots today...

Me and Chase had our first shots today and another de-wormer. I wasn't really scared much and the shot felt like a little prick. The medicine makes me very tired and a little wozzy. I am walking a little funny when I get up.

Mommy keep scoming up to lay with us and sing to us, but I'm too tired to do much except lie there. The pet doctor said this might happen, so we'll just snooze and have a fresh start tomorrow.
