My Sweet Peppy,

Happy Birthday Sweetheart! Mommy and Daddy love you so very much and we are glad we didn't listen to others when they told us it was a bad idea to adopt you at 9yrs old. You are the sweetest, most loveable kitty in the world. 11 yrs young is nothing to bat eyelashes at, but I know that you are still a kitten at heart. Momm and Daddy thank God everyday for your continued good health and energy! We love you, Pepper and we know tis will be your best year yet!

I'm so embarrassed

Mom caught me playing today. All by myself, I was throwing mice around and jumping all around the dining room. Then I was rolling in a good pile of catnip and racing around the room. And then wouldn't ya know it... Mom walked around the corner and spotted me! Ugh! There goes my dignity. I tried to hide my secret playtime by immediately jumping onto the cat tree and settleing down to look out the window, but I'm pretty sure Mom got a show out of me. My only hope it that she doesn't further my emabarrassment by telling all the other cats...

My tail of destruction...

Literally. Mom says becuase my tail is so thick and long, no matter what I hit with it, the stuff goes flying. The other day I knocked all the bills off Mom's desk with one swish. I can knock jewelry off tables and empty glasses to the floor. Kncik knacks, papers, silverware, photo frames... nothing is safe when my tail is around. :)

A present for me

I was sitting in Mom's lap the other day and she told me that she bought me a belated birthday present! She said she bought me a stroller. I'm not sure what that is, but she said that she won't have to put me in the carrier anymore. I hate the carrier. Mom says she hates having to put me in there too because she has a hard time carrying it. I'm such a big guy (21lbs) that I don't fit in a regular carrier... I need a dog carrier. Mom says its so awkward for her to carry it that she bangs it around and stuff and that scares me and makes me cry more. Mom says I will be more comfortable in the stroller and I won't be so scared. I really hope so.

Saturday is the day

Well I go to the new vet on Saturday. Mom says it won't be so bad, but I'm not so sure. Mom says I won;t have to go in that nasty ole' carrier either. She says she bought something called a pet stroller. I'm not sure what that is but Mom says it will be more comfy for me than the crate. I sure hope so.

My Mommy is sad

My mommy has been sad for a few days. I'm not really sure why. A few nights ago Mommy was crying a lot and Daddy hugged her, but it didn't seem to help much. Mommy said that soemone went to heaven a few years ago and it was thier birthday and she was sad because she missed them. I'm not sure who it was that went away, but I climbed in bed with Mommy and every tear that dripped out of Mommy's eyes I licked off her cheek. She hugged me really tight and said I was the best kitty ever. I hope Mommy feels better soon.

YAY!!!

Last night Mom got an email saying that we won the monthly gift basket for joining Catster Plus in September!!! We are all so excited!! (Mom doesn't have the best luck when it comes to winning things...) I can't wait to see what comes in it when it arrives!

Who is Dr. Gad?

I overheard Mom on the phone today. She was talking to someone about taking me to Dr. Gad's office. Who is Dr. Gad? I think he might be the new vet. I'm kinda nervous about this. I hope he's nice. Mom said something about me needing shots too. I don't think I like that idea either. Summer just went to the vet a few days ago and she came home all grumpy and mad. Winter got mad at her too and hissed at her all day until Mom finally gave her a bath to wash off the "vet smell". I will let everyone know how it goes.

My Birthday

Mommy told me tonight that I am going to have my birthday party soon. I'm really excited. I am going to be 10 years old on Halloween, which Mom Says is fitting since I am a black cat. I really hope I get lots of treats for my birthday...
