Starting Fluids

So Mom found out that one of my kidney values is better and one is slightly worse. The vet is starting me on fluids twice a week, which Mom will give at home. Wish Mom luck, because I'm not the kind of kitty who will sit still and I have really sharp claws!

CRF

About 3 months ago Mama found out I have CRF (chronic renal failure), which is what Bud also has. So now we eat together because we are on special food. I get my blood rechecked soon.

I'm still as active as ever, but my coat is still looking a bit dull. I also became really needy in the last 9 months or so, so I am often riding around on Mom's shoulder.

1- I am also known as “shoulder cat” and I will leap from the floor onto anyone’s shoulder when I want attention.

2- I play with ghosts.

3- I can roar like a lion – don’t let my size fool you.

4- I hate the other cats, especially the other girls who compete for my daddy’s attention.

5- At 2 p.m. every day I become extremely vocal and follow my mommy everywhere until she lets me get on her shoulder and ride around while she does chores.

6- I am afraid of Rosie, but not as much as I used to be.

7- I am the smallest cat my mommy has.
