Arrival Story:
Silly came to us in a rather roundabout way. After losing a gorgeous 9 week old kitten to a savage dog attack, we were greatly missing having a kitten around the house. When I saw kittens a leaflet about kittens being given away at the vets, I jumped at the chance to have another kitten. We picked Silly out of a litter of 3 and took her home. Silly was a rather unaffectionate little kitten. She bit, scratched, clawed and, unless she was hurting you, generally ignored you. When given chicken wings, she would fiercely growl and spit at you if you came anywhere near her. She was a fierce little cat, with quite a mean streak.

Silly's been part of our life for almost a year now and in that time she's matured into a lovely little cat. She loves spending time with us while we're in the shower - she watches us from the floor or the edge of the bath and loves jumping into the bath once we've finished showering. She's become a lot more affectionate and loves cuddling up to daddy on the bed at night. When she's not sleeping in her favourite bed, she's batting plastic springs up and down the hallway or running around the house like mad, chirping. Silly and Puss don't really get along and fought like mad for a while. Lately they've become better friends and sometimes you can catch them sleeping near each other in on the couch, in the garden or on the bed.
