2007 Summer Extravaganza Gift Exchange - Sign up now!!

All of us cats had an idea to host a Summer Party/gift Exchange. It's open to all Catster cats. Sign up by 7/13/07. Rules are below.

2007 Summer Extravaganza Gift Exchange

**Please Read Instructions**
1. Email Chase the email address for each cat that would like to exchange a gift valued at $10.00. PLEASE put "summer exchange" in the subject line. Chase's Page
Note: Chase will add your cat's email address to Elfster who will in turn email you instructions for the exchange. Please remember to add the email address santa@elfster.com to your safe
email list, otherwise important information might go into your bulk email folder.

2. Chase will do a name draw using the online tool, Elfster. The draw will take place on Friday, July 13, 2007. This is a Secret exchange. Matched cats do not know who their partners are. Shhhhhhhh

3. Once you receive the name of the cat you will be matched with, begin shopping. If you need gift ideas , you can send a note in Elfster to your cat w/ your questions.

4. Gifts can be delivered starting July 23. All gifts are to be sent to your secret cat by July 31st. No later.

5. Once you receive your gifts, you can send a note out to the group asking who your secret cat was (you can also shoot out a guess first if you like).

6. It's great to take pictures of your cat(s) receiving their gift and please remember to thank your secret cat for the gift.

We all have a cold,..yuck!

Mom knew it might happen. Bella had a URI/Calicci virus just before she came into our home. Mom knew there was a chance that we would get it from her and we did. It's our first time w/ a cold of any kind and mom has her hands full.

She got an antibiotic from the shelter, not to help the cold but to ward off any secondary bacterial infections. It's pink liquid and we all fight it, but mom wins everytime.

We don't have gunky noses or water eyes, we are just sneezing alot. Mom says she caught it before it got yucky, so this will probably be the worst of it.

Colds are no fun, but mom is working hard to stay on top of it. We are playing, eating, drinking as usual,so things are good.

why another intruder?

it wasn't too long ago that mommy brought home Max. i was not happy about that and was determined to make it clear that is was in mom's best interest to never do that again.

SHE DID IT AGAIN!

so, now there are a whopping 4 of us. I have to share everything and can barely even go to the litterbox in private without someone snif sniffing in my business.

the new cat is Bella,..yea,..she is a girl. The only girl. she is a real princess (please hear the sarcasam). I have even got over the anger and given her a few of my special ear washings but all she does is hiss and growl. She is a little tike, so trust me, I'm not scared. With a house full of boys, this princess act won't work,..I will toughen her up...

Life is good otherwise. we are very spoiled,.mommy just is catrazy over us each and every day. We like her a lot too!

5. I suckle mommys clothes, especially sweaters and fabric like that.
6. I love the smell of coffee and try to steal mommy's.

We're patio cats! Meowhoo!!

You heard me right all of you envious indoor kitties (just kidding).

Mom bought is teh Kitty walk penthouse/tunnel, so we can be out on the patio of our townhome. It is so fun out there! First off, we live off a lake, so we see lots of ducks/geese and other litle critters. Birds tease us by flying right over the patio. Max said he was gonna get one, but I said they are too fast for him. Mom says she thinks he just might have a chance.

Not too much is new. Mom has been going to this shelter to help the kitties there,..she says as long as she does something like thaat, she won't be as tempted to get another cat and that suits me fine. :-)

Chase here,..long time no meow!

Hi to every Catster Cat. It has been a long time since we have been around. Mom has been busy working, raising our human sister and taking care of all three of us, the two birds and the new betta fish. She has the food chain going on around here! Catrazy!!

I'm doing purrfect and getting very big. I am a little over 7 months now and I can do so many cool things the older I get. I jump crazy high when mommy plays w/ the feather stick w/ me, I can run like the wind and per mommy, I am the best behaved kitty in the house. She know's I have my moments though.

(like right now I am trying to get into the garbage and had to be sprayed 4 times,..ahem...)

OK, so back to all the good things about me.... he he

Ashton and Max are doing great, but I will let then catch up on their own. We are a lot of work for mommy, but she keeps up and I have heard he say that she would love to rescue yet another little kit - we have no room, so I'm sure that will until the new house is in the picture.

Things have calmed in our house

Since I last wrote, you knew that my space was rudely invaded by Maximo, a new kitten mom rescued from the shelter.

At first I couldn't stand him. I was MAD that he was in MY space and I made sure to let everyone know, especially mommy. I was acting very mean and aggressive and it made mommy worry - she has never seen that side of me.

Mom got lots of advise from other mommies here at Catster. She tried much of it and within about a week, all of us kitties were a happy family. Now, Max is my little bro and I really do love him alot. I watch after him because he is a silly daring kitty and I am never to rough with him. Finally this is a peaceful and catastic home again!

I'm not sure if I told you, but mom surprised us with a new and very, very large cat tree. She got it from Armakat at their online store. It has 7 platforms, two houses, stairs and lots of scratching posts. It is so much fun and very cumpfy to take out cat naps on as well.

Ashton is doing good - he really likes Max too. he plays a lot rougher w/ him, but Max can take it. He is fiesty like me and he can hold his own.

Mom also just started using Worlds best litter and the house smells soooo much better. Mom says it's really neat because it is clumpbale, but it's all natural (corn) so it's not harmful at all and their is no dust. It's pretty spendy, but one bag will last us 2.5 months.

Mom also changed our diet to Natural Balance Ultra canned and dry. I love the dry, but don't care for the canned. Max loves both and mommy is happy about that, because she said he really needed the diet change from what he was eating at the shelter. Ash doesn't like either.

We are getting very big now. We are almost 7 months old. Mom says I am long and Ash is more wide,...that cracks me up!! Ash is a little chunker!!

Oh, I almost forget. Mom let us host another holiday event. We really had fun w/ the Christmas exchange. We started a Valentines Day Photo Contest. Stop by, if your interested in taking part or if you want to help out.

It's utter chaos around here - what's a cat to do?!

OK, mom really did it this time I forgave her for the neuter that she put me through last week, but she pushed the envelope this time. BIG TIME!

All is was well and wonderful here in kitty land, when "sniff, sniff" what is that I smell? It smells like a feline intruder!!! It IS a feline intruder - a little baby black one!!

Ohhhhh, am I mad. I just can't believe it! What in the name of all cat's was my mommy thinking?!

Mom went to the shelter and rescued a little boy. She actually went to sign up as a volunteer and comes home with a new brother. I never asked for a new brother. She better take him back!! This is my house and I am the boss - everyone here knows that.

So much to catch you up on!

So much has happened since I last wrote.

Our first Christmas was so much fun! We got lots of neat toys from mommy and our secret Catster Kitties. We are purrfectly thankful for everything!

We got to see snow a few days before Christmas. It was fun to watch fall and we really wanted to pounce it!

One thing that happened that was catrazy was we got neutered. Yep, we're real manly men now and it wasn't so bad. I was up and running around that night. Ash took a few days, but he snapped out of his wimpy cat mode and joined me in romping!! j/k,..I wuv my little bro!

Oh, and mommy just told us we have a big surprise coming in the mail. I can't wait to see what it is!! I will catch you up on it once I know.

I really have to thank my mommy because she has been giving me lots of online time. Mostly, because I am hosting a Holiday Gift Exchange in my group at Catster, but I also love to come on and write in my diary and catch up with my Catster Pals. Catster ROCKS! He He

There has been so much to write about. The drama of being a kitten just never ends and I'm purrfectly pleased that other's like to hear all about it.
