Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 7th 2006
 Coloration: Black and White

Likes: attention!

Pet-Peeves: being left alone

Favorite Toy: Furry mice

Favorite Nap Spot: On the back of the couch or in the window with the least sun

Favorite Food: her nightly serving of canned food

Skills: She is very adept at sign language...she surprised me by learning what i am saying to Fernando, who is a deaf kitty!!!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: At her tender young age, Tokay has already been rescued three times. First, she was found in a woodpile with her mom and three sibling, her mom disappeared with one of the kittens, and the remaining three were rescued by a kind hearted dog owner who could not keep them.

Bio: Tokay is slow to warm to people and other pets, but once adjusted is very affectionate! He will sit near you and demand attention by meowing at you. She is mostly an indoor cat, she will go out to sit on the patio, and jump on the wall, but that is as far as she goes.
She is spayed, chipped and up to date on shots (Feb. is her due date for shots, I believe)
She gets along well with dogs (takes a while) and other cats (not quite as long). She would not be the best fit for small children because she does not like to be picked up, and prefers to meet you on her own terms. She does like a lot of attention, and will meow at you to let you know its time for you to give her some!
Can arrange all cat supplies to go with her. Can arrange to meet or deliver, for the right family. Please help me find a home for her, shes a great kitty and deserves it.
Since Tokay is named for the Tokay gecko.
An Update to the above...
Tokay has found her forever home in Las Cruces, NM. She has adapted very well here and has made furriends with the other kitties.

Lives Remaining: 6 of 9

My Angel Sister Storm has the address for Walter Reed Army Medical Center in her diary...actually I think we all do...but last year we got cards back saying they couldn't be delivered as addressed so meowmy just got of the phone with a nice lady at the info desk (202-782-3501) and here's the address she gave us...
Holiday Mail For Heroes
P.O. Box 5456
Capitol Heights, MD
20791
The lady said they do NOT accept Holiday Cards at the medical center itself and she also said that the deadline for cards to be post marked is Dec. 7th. Please make a soldier's day and send them a card!!

So...I made it to meowmy Esther's house but there's this BIG (alot bigger than me and i'm not small! ) cat there whose name is...well, it's Spanish for "Kisses"... he didn't like me too well cuz he chased me around and ran me out of all the hiding places i could find and he beat me up every time he found me!!!
AND he wouldn't even let me use MY litterbox without starting an arguement!!!
So now i'm back with Dog & Scrappy (even tho i don't get to hang out with them) and i'm much more happier here cuz these kitties are nice to me and there are 2 of the CUTEST little ones around here that i get to push around a little bit!!! MOL!!! They are so000 meowvelously cute!!! So this is where I decided I want to be so here I am!!!
And a little good mews I want to mention...Even tho the v-e-t isn't sure, she said that the thing they first thought is FIP may not be. The kitties that are sick are still in their own room but the doc said it's possible that what looks like FIP could very well be being caused by something the kitties are getting into rather than viral. Something to do with findings in a seperate set of blood work that isn't titers.
Anyway, Dog will probably write about it but i was so excited i had to mention it!!! Maybe soon I'll get to meet the 2 most talked about kitties...The one & only Dog "The Burrito Cat" and his sister Scrappy!!!

Well my furriends, after all the difficult time the humans had getting me from my home to my new home, i'm finally here!!! Boy did they go thru alot and I want to thank Meowmy Jill, and my new meowmy Esther and every one in between for all their trouble and endurance in making this happen and most important, for LOVING me enough to make it happen...It was sketchy a couple times!!! We owe a very special thanks to a "dog lover" who is allergic to kitties. This special person brought me from Abq to Las Cruces even tho she is allergic. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK SO VERY MUCH MISS ELIZABETH!!! I am not really hiding tho i am of course a little skittish in my new surroundings but i will be fine and i will fit in just purrrrfect i'm told!!! I will write more as soon as i settle in but before i go, i want to really thank all my furriends for their PURRRRS to make this happen!!!
I MISS YOU MEOWMY JILL BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND I LOVE YOU!!! I WILL BE FINE HERE!!!!
Purrrrrs,
Tokay
