Arrival Story:
Minnie, Beegee, and Bailey's mom was a feral cat with disabilites. I didn't catch Minnie until a week after I caught Beegee and by that time, she was near death. She was skin and bones and had obvious birth defects. She also had a massive worm infection. All of the kittens had birth defects, one who died had no nose and the other one that died had a deformed skull. Beegee, as you will see, has only one eye. I thought I was taking her to the vet to end her suffering. The vet ran her bloodwork and said she had a less than 5% chance of survival. That was four years ago and she survived.

Bio:
You can see her eyes are not normal. Her face around her eyes is deformed and there are also deformites in her eyeballs and her third eyelids. She had about 20% vision in both eyes until about a year ago when she lost all sight in one eye. She's nearly blind but she's got great aim! She smacks everyone at least once a day if they need it or not. She also has defects in her bladder and liver and had defects in her reproductive organs (removed when she was spayed). Yes, it is a miracle everyday she is alive as she has been deemed terminally ill by three different vets. The vet she has now is awesome and some of her file has been sent to teach vets. I have been told many times that cats with her problems do not survive, but she doesn't listen! As long as she is happy and not in pain, I will be here to care for her. She is a great reminder to cherish every day.
