Arrival Story:
Bailey was from the second litter of kittens from a feral mom. Beegee and Minnie are his sisters (they are from the first litter). Like the first litter, this litter also had disabilities. Bailey's littermate has hip dysplasia and he has rare seizures and tooth/bone issues. Luckily, they are both very small cats so their disabilities aren't as profound. I've had him since he was about 4 weeks old when I caught him out in the woods behind the apartments complex where I lived. He did not come quietly and hissed and growled at me for an hour. Once he got over himself, he insisted I carry him around with me, zipped up in a sweatshirt. He would not sleep alone until he was about 6 months old. Boogie would grudgingly let Bailey cuddle up with him when I was busy. Bailey still would rather cuddle up with someone but will sleep by himself if he has to.

I'm so happy Bailey hasn't had a seizure in over two years. He did, however, somehow manage to cut the back of one of his legs and sever the tendons and arteries in the leg. Amazingly, he has made a complete recovery and has full use of the leg and foot. Both his Vet and I are still in shock. I'm sure it helps that he is so small. Bailey loves everyone and loves it when I foster kittens he can take care of. He is so gentle and loving and has helped me so much with socializing abused and disabled cats and kittens. We have a purebread siamese I'm fostering now who I've had for months. He's beautiful but people can't touch him but he and Bailey are very attatched to each other.

My buddy Monkey has been a foster kitty for over a year now and is finally starting to let mom pet and play with him. He is the purebred handsome guy in the pic with me. He likes to yell a lot too and we like having yelling contests at 2 in the morning. Mom doesn't appreciate that for some reason.
