Acting like the regal Queen that she is.

Dogs & strangers.

Favorite Toy:
ANYTHING. Life was a banquet for her.

Favorite Nap Spot:
In the sun.

Favorite Food:
Fancy Feast Liver

Better than a doorbell.

Arrival Story:
A friend of ours found her abandoned with her little face frozen to the sidewalk. It was touch and go for a while because she had to be fed often and kept warm with a heating pad. There was no question we would take her. How anyone could have dumped this tiny little fuzzy ball of love and purrs is beyond me! God blessed us with her wonderful presence in our lives. She never knew she was a cat because she was raised with dogs so instead of making kitty noises she would growl!

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:

God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm
And safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Please bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's unusual
To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.

You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.

I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew.

Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.

Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail inbox
And each person who hits 'send'.

When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer

A Tail to Remember

For a long time I couldn't come to terms with how anyone could be so cold hearted as to leave a baby kitten out to freeze to death. It was definitely their loss and our gain. She was a loving, sweet and goofy baby that worshipped us with her whole heart.
Just 20 days after we lost Paisley Paws, our Shih Tzu to cancer, we had to put Reeses to rest because the tumor in her stomach was not responding to chemo either. It was the singularly most difficult thing I have ever had to do. I held her because she was in so much pain and I didn't want her to go alone but at the time I just wanted an injection myself to go with her. I thought my life was over.
God has since blessed us with Tinker and Roxxie. They're love and devotion has brought joy back into our lives. NOTHING and no one can replace Paisley and Reeses but we have a reason to get up in the mornings. Usually to clean up the shredded paper trail the girls have make of tissues, paper, etc. during the night. Never a dull moment!
I'm sure Reeses and Paisley are looking down and laughing their heads off at the mess. At least we'll be reunited with them some day at the Bridge.

Our little "Ice Princess",
Your love and devotion along with all the silly antics made us love you even more if that was possible.
It was with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye but we know you're at the Bridge tormenting the heck out of Paisley Paws when you can!
Heaven is a little brighter because of your presence. We'll meet you at the Bridge soon!
Love always,
Mom & Dad

This is a special Tail of Devotion
