Arrival Story:
I went to the shelter to pick out a kitten after my old cat died and was looking at calico kittens in the next cage. She climbed the side of the cage and was meowing loudly so I opened the door and she climbed out onto my shoulder and began to purr in my ear. That was it. Love at first snuggle!!

Bio:
Oonagh is VERY loving, but only with me. She's definately a one person cat. She's very tolerant of other animals and even at 11 years old with a gimpy knee (from an old football injury! haha!) she still loves to tear around the house with the other cats. She used to have a brother-dog, but he went to the Rainbow Bridge when she was only 3 years old. Now she just has her sister-cats to play with. The picture where she's a lovely shade of terracotta (3rd from the bottom) was from when we were having out kitchen redone and she rolled in some carpenters chalk. She thought she looked quite fetching and couldn't understand why people laughed when they saw her for the first time! She stayed this color for nearly 2 weeks!
