To knead a stuffed bear we call Mama, It is as big as Romeow is, and it helps "chill him out" when he gets p***ed off 'cause we won't let him outside.

Pet-Peeves:
Not being able to go outside.

Favorite Toy:
A catnip chili pepper or anything some other kitty has that Romeow doesn't. His most recent favorite is a number of catnip-filled slugs, very appropriate for Wa state. He steals sluggy and somehow manages to get the antenna untied, thus emptying catnip.

Favorite Nap Spot:
In the couch; he discovered that because of the special feature of the couch having serving trays, there is an empty space into which he can dive. And he does, at any perceived threat.

Favorite Food:
Anything, he's not that picky about food.

Skills:
He can disappear into the depths of the couch instantly! He is also a world-class shanker.

Arrival Story:
Romeow was the second kitty I adopted after the tragic deaths of my three cats in a house fire in Dec. 2003. I had been reading about various cats on Petfinder, and for some reason, his profile stood out. We drove from Maple Valley to Mt. Vernon, about 100 miles, to get him. It was a worth-while trip! He purred and kneaded all the way home,

Bio:
He was so affectionate, and loved belly rubs so much, that we changed his name from Noire to Romeow. Our only problem with him is that he was found in a parking lot, so must have been used to going outside, but our cats are strictly "indoors only" and he sometimes stands by the door and 'roars' to be let out! He has two new behaviors to report - Meerkating (standing on his hindlegs) to peek over the back of the couch, and shanking any unsuspecting passerby with outstretched paw and extended claws. We know about his shanking tendencies, and give him a wide berth when passing by. Lady still is a favorite target, evidenced by her frequent, startled yips.

OK,
here goes:
Meowlo Diary,
I was purrfectly content with the size of our family. There was me, and Lil' One (who survived the fire), and Bonkers, and Mittsie, and Beau. That was until SHE arrived. She is a dynamo of black fur and claws, and a Cattitude as big as her name- Annabelle Joy.
She joined our family because Mom can't say "No". Mom was at work, when a co-worker came to her with a problem. She had bought a kitten fur her son from a pet shop. But, after a week, it was obvious the boy was allergic to the kitten. So, the co-worker was looking fur a good home fur the kitten.
Mom suggested Humane Society, then asked about the kitten. It was a little black female named Sissy.
That did it! The first cat Mom got when she grew up was a black cat she named Cissy.
And now, I'm responsible fur this little scrap of fur and fire. And mew know what? I like it.
