September 17th - Sunday

Today was a beautiful day. Mama opened the windows, and I sat on the stack of blankets and watched the birds in the backyard. I wish I could get them! Maybe one day she'll open the screen too, and I can try catching that fat one over there. Or maybe that little one that flies around.

My tummy didn't feel too good so I tossed my kitty cookies on the floor in the corner. That happens every once in a while, and Mama gets all upset that maybe I don't feel well, and she fusses. She fusses about me a lot. Always picking me up and wiping my nose, checking my ears, hugging me and kissing me. I think most of the time she is really annoying, but sometimes I like it. Sometimes.

Today wasn't a great day though because we got a guest staying upstairs who stomps around, and Tesla barks. She's so noisy, and I had to keep moving around trying to find a good place to sleep. I did get a nice surprise though-- Daddy left his underwear drawer open, and a nice pile of clean laundry is such a wonderful place to take a little nap...
