Just remembering ...

I used to have another cat-sister named Celeste, though everyone called her Lestie. She and I used to fight a lot over Mommy's attention, but, you know, sometimes I still miss her. We didn't only fight; we also cuddled and slept together a lot. Now Luxor and Silky have each other, and sometimes I feel left out.

Anyway, Lestie passed away around 6 years ago, but she hasn't been forgotten. Not by me, and I don't think by Mommy either.

On My Mommy's Lap

Mom is helping me type this while I sit on her lap. I'm purring, of course.

It's gotten cold around here lately, but now that the heat's been turned on, both Silky and I pick out our own vent to stand on top of while the warm air comes out. Luxor - my brother - doesn't like to get his ears messed up so he runs away.

I Love Mommy

Mommy is good. Mommy is the best. I like to sleep with Mommy, and hide my face inside Mommy's hair.

If something scares me (and almost everything does), I quickly look at Mommy and she says to me, "It's okay." Then I can relax.

Mommy protects me when Luxor chases me. Mommy holds me in her lap a lot, and sometime she carries me around like a baby.

I love Mommy.
