This ain't so bad...

I was living in a cage for a few months in a really loud and echoey place. It was ok - people came and brushed me and stuff, but there wasn't a whole lot to do. One day a girl came by and stood in front of my cage for a really long time. I reached my paw out, and then a big guy came by and opened my cage door - he reached into get me but I just walked out and into the other cage he had open for me - I knew I was goin somewhere better!

So the girl took me home and it's SO much more fun here. There's a big pretty dog here that the girl calls my sister. The dog is a bit of a weenie - she cries sometimes when I get too close or I put up my paw (I'm just plaaaaaaaayin'!) but I can make her chase me if I want, and we both love that game.

Oh, and there's a FISH TANK! That's my favourite! Waaaaaaay better than the dog. Them fish keep going around and around - they look bored, so I try to get them with my paws - then they go faster - they're having fuuuuun like me!

And there's lots of places for me to climb up and lots of things for me to scratch. And carpets! I love me some carpets! And treats! Yep, this is the life. I don't get to go outside but I just pretend I want to - really, it's more fun in here. I would miss that weenie dog and those awesome fish too much. Oh, and maybe the girl too.
