Arrival Story:
I work on a ranch of some kind, and we have cats all over the place. Springtime brought a whole load of kitties, and I became pretty obsessed with nabbing one of them. Alas, they were hard to catch. But a coworker told me about his litter: they were all black cats (which is what I wanted), and no arduous chasing was necessary for obtaining one. He brought them in, and I fell for Meltron.
Bio:
Update: Meltron is very adventurous. As such, he went missing a few months ago. He hasn't come back. I'm worried about him, and I hope he returns. We miss you Meltron!
Meltron is very hyper and also kind of crazy. He torments my other cats because he always wants to play with them. He loves chasing butterflies on the lawn. He's pretty good at catching them, too.
Meltron's full name is Meltron Thurston-Moore. He's named after an animatronic statue that I made up in a story, and his last name is after the singer of Sonic Youth.

Hi there. I'm happy that I was picked to be the cat of the day!
But I must say that yesterday was a really sad day. My big brother dog (seen in the picture where I jumped on his back), Samson, died yesterday. He had an illness, and he lived a lot longer than expected. But yesterday was his time to go. I paid my respects to him when his owners buried him in the yard. Even thought he was a dog, he taught me a lot about being a cat. He taught me not to steal food from my siblings. He taught me not to attack his ears too much. He protected me when I was scared. I'll miss him forever.
And so it brightens my spirits to be named the cat of the day. I added some new pictures. My winter coat is here. I'm a lot fluffier than I thought I'd be (this is my first winter). But I have to say it's comfy.
