Arrival Story:
Apparently, I was the runt of a litter of 5 born in the Toronto South Animal Services Centre on Christmas day 2004! I came to live with Dad on February 19th 2005 - If you do the math, I was exactly 8 weeks old! Dad says that he thought that I looked like an alien when I first came home but that he loved me anyway. It didn't take very long for me to feel right at home, and for Dad to start showing me how much he liked me being there - I was overwhelmed with all the toys he kept bringing home! To this day, I'm still Dad's favorite and I've even convinced Dad to let me eat on the counter (I get a lovely window view of Toronto that way) and to even drink out of my very own human glass on the counter (no plain cat dish for MY water thank you!)

Bio:
People often question how I got my full name (Florence Nightingale Stormtrooper), well, Dad's a nurse, so that explains the Florence Nightingale part. Dad says that he was watching a show one night and he heard nurses referred to as Florence Nightingale's Stormtroopers and he thought that it was a perfect fit for my name. He says the Stormtrooper part fits nicely, seeing as I have no problem galloping into a room at full speed and attacking the first thing I see! As you may have noticed, I have a "little brother" named Louis. He's been here now for nearly a year and I guess I've gotten over not being an only child - I still wish it was just me, but I guess he's handy to have around when I'm bored and Dad's not home to play. Although his rough and tumble attitude towards play is a bit much now that he's grown quite a bit and is bigger then me. I'm now the oldest fur-kid of three!! Dad's recently brought home another "little bundle of joy"! Find out how I feel about this new kitten in my diary!

The Revelation!!

OH MY COD!! IT'S A DOG!!
I can't believe Dad did this to me! I think I'm gonna die! Why on Earth would he bring a dog home? And a puppy!! SO MUCH WORSE!!
You know, I feel like a bit of an idiot for my last entry - but serioiusly, I've never seen a dog my entire life - how was I supposed to know?
Louis tried to tell me IT was a puppy - but, like I should ever believe him about anything anyway.
Then it all started to add up - barking, not using the litter box, wearing a collar, allowing Dad to tie it up to a string and leaving the apartment willingly like that - UGH!!
So now I've got to find a way to get rid of it - attacking it doesn't seem to work - Dad yelled at me for that one - no need to push my boundries - who knows what he would do.
ARRRHHHHH - a puppy....I'm too old for this.

Shhh...don't wake it up!

Hey everyone!
Sorry I haven't been around Catster very much lately.
I've been hiding in the bedroom.
A week ago, Dad came home with another kitten. I couldn't believe it.
It was almost a year ago that he came home with Louis - which was tolerable - back then, it was just me and him. I was a whole year younger myself, so I was able to actually have fun playing with him, and I have to admit, it was kinda nice to have him around.
I just don't think I can handle another kitten - they're so needy.
To be honest, it wouldn't really be that bad, except, well, to be frank, this new kitten is the ugliest cat I've ever seen. It doesn't even know how to meow properly - it sounds more like: "Bark"!!
I think Dad knows he's made a bit of a mistake bringing this new ugly kitten home - I mean, he doesn't even keep it locked in the bathroom when he leaves home for a few hours like he did with me or Lou. Instead, he keeps putting it in one of those scary box things he uses to take me and Louis to the vet everytime he leaves - I think Dad secretly hopes that someone will break in here and just take the ugly kitten when he's not home!
I thought that maybe Dad was just keeping the ugly kitten here for a while 'cause it disappeared for a few days, but now it's back (apparently, it got kinda sick and had to stay at the vets) - so I'm pretty sure it's here to stay.
Dad's calling it "Molly" which I'm sure means "ugly cat" in human. It has it's own page, and unfortunately, since we're now "family", her picture is on my page - take a look for yourselves if you don't believe what an ugly kitten she is!
Oh no! I think it's woken up - time to climb the clothes to the top of the closet and hide!

Love, Peace and Tuna-can Grease,
Flo

Oh, How Dejected I Feel...

Can you believe that it's been over a month since I've made a diary entry? Obviously, Dad's been ignoring my Catster needs!
Louis' page is always up to date - I think it has something to do with that "Terrifc Tabbies" group he belongs to - like that makes him so special. Being a tabby, whoa, big deal!
I've been thinking of starting my OWN group: The Sensational Siblings of Terrific Tabbies (NO TABBIES ALLOWED)!! I can't be the only non-tabby "sibling" of a so-called Terrific Tabby that feels left out. Louis' just worried that Missy Mupps (the tabby who started Terrific Tabbies) will get upset that I'm using her group's name in my group's title - we'll see. The last thing I'd want to do is upset another cat.
And what's with Louis having more pictures then me? I mean, I'm a beautiful girl cat - is it my fault that I don't take a great picture? Like, com'mon, the picture can only be as good as the photographer *gives Dad an annoyed look*.
Oh, some good news though - it's almost Christmas!! Which means that it's almost my 2nd birthday. It's kinda hard having your birthday on December 25th - Dad's hardly around because he's got to go visiting all of his family - none of which like cats, so I've never been invited. But Dad told me the other day that he's working all of the Christmas hours at work so that means that he won't be visiting any relatives and that he'll be home to celebrate my birthday with me! I hope he gets me something really nice (I've been wanting a pink shiney collar for months now!)
Anyhoo cats, I've gotta get the day started,
Love, Peace and Tuna-can Grease,
Flo
