Arrival Story:
After Charlie passed, I went to one of the Forgotten Felines & Fidos foster homes in Macungie and sat on a chair. In a flash, a cat was curled up in my lap. The foster-dad said "Do you want to look around?" I answered, "I've been chosen, this is the cat." He was given to the rescue organization because his family was moving and the father said get rid of him. Lucky for us! Maxwell smelled sweet all the time, thus the nickname "Sweet Max." He was gentle, loving, and very sweet.

Bio:
Maxwell Thomas passed at age 5-1/2. Christmas Eve 1998 he had a heart attack. Hazel Lucy had just come to live with us. Max was an extremely sensitive guy, and I always wondered if Hazel's arrival caused him so much distress that he had the heart attack, even though we knew he had a heart murmur. The last month of his life I fed him from a spoon, warmed Gerber's strained peas. We let him go to the bridge January 30th, 1999. It was 3 years before I could look at Maxwell's photo without sobbing.

Forums Motto:
I love mom!

Max likes to play!:
Maxwell slept on the bed and woke up around 5:30 a.m. so of course he wanted us to get up too. We didn't, so he would paw down the metal mini-blinds. We would throw socks at him. This was our game every morning and we always laughed.
