Arrival Story:
One evening around 10:00, I was cleaning something in the garage, with the garage door open. I thought I kept hearing a kitten cry. I stepped outside, and called "Kitty, Kitty". From across the street, out of a tree, I heard this "PLOP". This tiny kitten runs straight to me, and scrambles up into my arms! He had fleas crawling all over his little face, and his belly was swollen with worms. I carried him inside to show my husband, who said "OH NO! NOT ANOTHER CAT!" But could you turn him out? We found out he had followed some neighborhood kids home from school, but the family didn't want him, and had just thrown him out in the front yard. Needless to say, Charlie became ours.
Bio:
Charlie is a great guy. You almost forget he lives here, because he is so good. He is obsessed with two things, sneaking into the laundry room and jumping into the basket of clean clothes, and olives. When I open a jar, he suddenly appears from nowhere, and meows loudly until I give him some juice or an olive. His eyes are the same color as olives! When we are trying to get him out of the laundry room, my husband just blows across the open jar of olives, and he's out in a flash! He gets along well with all the other cats, and is a loving little guy. Charlie is very attached to Zack, and loves to snuggle and knead him. When you pet him, he squinks his eyes and smiles! I will try to get a picture of that!
