Arrival Story:
We adopted him the same day as Roy. Everyone would walk past him and comment how adorable he was, but as soon as they read that he had Cerebellar Hypoplasia and that he was deaf, they just walked right past him. But WE couldn't resist.

Bio:
When we first got him home, he had some trouble walking steadily and eating properly (which I've read is common from the disease) but after a while, he got his footing well, and now he is leaping across the tops of the furniture! He's definitely an entertaining cat. Most cats with this disease die before they are a year old, but he's lived with us for 3 and is still going strong! He acts more like a dog sometimes, loves to take baths, loves to go down the hall on his leash, and his hunting instinct is definitely strong! Almost too strong, as he's constantly trying to hunt our poor Papillon puppy, Gidget! But he's the best and everyone who meets him falls in love. The vet's office wanted to keep him, but we said "nope, he's all ours!" Here's more info in Cerebellar Hypoplasia: http://www.vetinfo.com/cencycloped ia/cecerhypo.html
