Life as I see it....

Like mother, like daughter!

I've gone feral, just like my mom, B.L.! I've always been a skittish kitty, but now I won't go to her when she calls me and it's making her worry. I know, she's never done anything mean to me, in fact, she's always spoiled us rotten! I just have this wild streak in me, and I want to be wild. She says she's going to catch me and my mom and have us spayed. As long as she keeps putting food out for us, that's good by me!

Our Mistress is Nuts

Today was such a beautiful sunny day, and I was lying on the table on the deck, watching the squirrels play in the trees, when I noticed my Mistress in the kitchen window fighting with this round thing. It was clear on one half of the globe and blue on the other, and it had this bear, and lil pink pig, and an orange striped tiger in it. Could it be a toy for us? I'm not sure she's going to let us play with it, specially after watching HER play with it. She was holding it upside down, trying to pry this lil round thing off. She was having a really tough time trying to get it off, too. She kept muttering to herself, "How in blue hell am I going to get the snow in this freaking thing if I can't get this thingy off?" She also said some other words, but I'm too much of a lady cat to repeat those. She finally put it down and said something about getting Casey to do it.

No, I don't think we cats will get to play with that toy.

I'm a Star!!

Yes, it's true: I'm a star!!

I was outside, playing in the leaves this afternoon, when my mistress came and scooped me up and took me in the house. She took me to this room where there was this black thing with some pictures on it. She said it was a "computer". She then held me up near her face, and lo and behold, there I was, on the screen!!! My face! I am so pretty....

She was laughing and smiling, telling me to look at the "camera", because someone named "Amy" wanted to see me. I dunno what a "camera" is, but I looked at this thing that she was pointing to and meowed at it! She told me that Amy said I was beautiful!! See? Confirmation of what I've always known: I am gorgeous!! My mistress said that she hopes all this attention doesn't go to my head!
