Christmas Wish

My wish this Christmas is that all the kitties who are hurt and abused would find loving homes with those who would cherish and love them. Merry Christmas!

Homes for our babies!

Whew! It's been hard, but our mistress has finally found homes for mine and ChickenBob's babies.

Her sister's family adopted Teddy Bear yesterday. They are going to be such good pawrents to him!

Stevie Ray is going to Virginia in a few weeks. His pawrent-to-be came to visit my mistress about a week after our kittens were born. She picked him up and he hissed and growled at her! His pawrent-to-be laughed and said, "That's the one I want!" He will be back soon to get Stevie Ray.

Another friend is contemplating adopting one if she can talk her hubby into it! hehe I'm sure she can, she's very persuasive!

Two of them, Leroy Jenkins and Sami, will be staying here. Casey named Leroy Jenkins, so, of course, that one stays, and Sami has some nerve damage in his back legs. When he walks or runs, he tends to fall down, and my mistress says that no one will be able to take care of him the way she will.

The rest of our babies are going to live with the mother of a very good friend of our mistress. She lives on a farm, and wants all the rest of them to help her catch mice in her barn! I'm sure they'll be wonderful at that, seeing as how they sneak up and attack each other!

All in all, I believe ChickenBob and I have reared some very good kittens! They will make us proud! Happy Mother's Day to all the kitty moms out there!!

The Babies First Visit to the Doctor!

My mistress and her son took all the babies and me to the vet today. Seems she's been worried that I've become quite thin since the birth of my kittens. Also, the kittens have been sneezing and have matty eyes. Dr. Jason said that I was an excellent mommy! He said he could tell because I was so skinny and the kittens were so plump. If I had been fatter, he would know that the kittens weren't getting enough to eat. He also said that it's normal for the mommies to become as skinny as me. (Got my pre-pregnancy figure back! hehe) I did have a 104 degree fever, so he gave me some antibiotics to take three times a day, and he also put the babies on .3 cc of antibiotic twice a day. He also wants my mistress to put this ointment in the babies eyes once a day for a few days, to help with the matting. She's sure going to be busy being a feline nurse! MOL! I don't think she minds, though. I know she loves us all very much and will do whatever it takes to keep us healthy!
