Mouse number 3!

This morning, I caught another mouse. I'm on a roll, no one can stop me!
It's great fun to play with them (can't understand why Meowmy doesn't enjoy it too...) and I'm getting really good at catching them.

I caught TWO mice this evening!!!

Two in a row! My Meowmy was having a hard time, because of these mice, the traps weren't working at all. By I came to the rescue!
Mewomy told me a was a good boy, the bestest in the world.

Mission accomplished!

I had been training for weeks, months and was prepared for it.
This morning, I caught my very first mouse!
I told Meowmy it was hiding in the kitchen and had been waiting for it to show its face.
Today, Meowmy was about to go downstairs, but before that, she checked on Loki. My big sister was asleep in Meowmy's bed, as usual.
Then, I jumped on the bed and started playing with a mouse. Meowmy thought it was one of the toy mice she buys me and I train with. Soon enough, she realized it was a live one instead! I wanted Meowmy to video the event, but she was so shocked to see a mouse on her bed (what's the big deal, I ask?), that kept on calling people on the phone; she even called Nana, who's in Italy!
Eventually, she got the Juventus sheet where the mouse (now dead) was, and ran downstairs.
Anyway, when she got back in the house, she was very pleased with me and told me I was a great hunter and the best cat in the world (silly Meowmy, I know that already). She also said this meant I was all grown up now and a better mouse hunter than Loki.
By the way, my big sister kept on sleeping...
I am the happiest kitty, because I made my Meowmy happy and proud of me.
I am orange, after all...

Meowmy's bed

For the past two nights I've been allowed to sleep in my Meowmy's big bed, which is where my sister Loki always sleeps.
So far, Meowmy never let me stay at night, because I would simply play all the time, making it impossible for her and Loki to sleep.
Of course, I had my own room, all to myself, but it was kind of lonely in there. I thought I would never spend a night in that big, cozy bed. But I was wrong!
I have learned that I can play as much as I want before the time to go to sleep comes. So now I just do that and I can sleep with Loki and Meowmy.
It's so purrfect!
My Nana says it's a sign of my growing up and turning in to a well-behaved cat. I don't know about that, but sure it's super to be in Meowmy's room all night long.

Bastian, the transvestite

I'll be the Eddie Izzard of cats!
A couple of days ago, Meowmy found me in the bathroom (where I usually like to be) and noticed something different about me. She had a closer look and saw that I was wearing a bright pink collar!
What? How did that happen?
It was one of Loki's old collars, which Meowmy had left in the closet. I obviously had been in her bedroom, looking in her closet and had found that old collar.
But how did I put it on?
Naturally, I'll never tell Mum how I did it, but the thing is that now she says that I look a bit too feminine (and I still wear my own collar too!).
Yesterday, I manage to get Loki to give me the collar she was wearing. She was all naked, but did not complain. I thought I'd try and get to wear a third collar: another pink one, of course!
I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Look at my picture: do you guys reckon I look feminine?

I gave Meowmy a big scare!

I just wanted to share this with you.
Today my Meowmy nearly had a heart attack. Do you want to know what I did? Well, Meowmy had left the window on the first floor slightly open, so I thought I would try to open it completely. But I didn't stop there! Once there was enough room for me to slip through, I just jumped on the green grass.
Meowmy screamed my name and got really pale. Because I wasn't moving, but just looking at her, she got very worried and rushed downstairs. She came to pick me up, but I was just fine. Doesn't she know that cats land on their feet?
Once upstairs, I tried to do it again! I'm very proud of my BIG jump, though Meowmy was really scared. But I showed Loki that I can do something so brave!
I thought I'd share it with everybody.

Cat on a leash

For the past two days, I've been experiencing a nice walk in the garden, on a leash.
Loki is a pro at this, but I'm catching up quickly.
Mewomy makes me wear a lovely red harness, and I must say that I look very handsome in it.
I love to chase butterflies, like Loki does, but the noise of cars is scary to my little ears, so I always run back to Meowmy when one of those monsters passes by.
People look at me and smile: I think it's because I'm cute!
I hope Meowmy will take me and Loki for a walk soon, because I need to show the nasty people who were mean to Marty, that being nice is always the better choice.

Cat Water Fountain

Today Mummy brought home this water fountain. I enjoyed it playing with the water, but Loki is still afraid of it.
I must say, it was a great idea to get something so exciting and new. I love getting my paws wet!

Something called snow....

Today it's snowing. Yes, it's this white stuff coming down from the sky and I want to chase it and catch it, but I can't from behind the window. Everything's white, I've never seen anything like it before: do you know what I mean?
