Arrival Story:
Back in early 2000 (I wasn't living with my parents' but visited often), we used to see Phoebe out around the neighbourhood and thought she was a a stray (or owned by someone who didn't take care of her). My mom started feeding her and let her in the house. She then went into heat, so we got her spayed. She became my parents' cat and was friendly and got along well with Teddy and then Rothy once he came to live there. Then in 2002, my sister moved back home and brought her 3 cats (Binky, The Baby & Piglet) with her. Piglet is a real bully and fights with the girl cats in the household. Some of the girl cats fight right back, but Phoebe is terrified of him and she became really antisocial and would run if you tried to handle her. She eventually just left and went to live with one of the neighbours (I assume they maybe thought she was a stray). These neighbours aren't the best owners and we even have the feeling that they were possibly her original owners. They leave her outside and go away for days (sometimes weeks) on vacation. She comes over often to eat outside but if Piglet's around she runs! UPDATE: Since February 2008, Phoebe is back living with my parents. Her "owners" (the neighbours who had taken her) moved away and left her behind!
