Arrival Story: One day my future Mommy & Daddy came to see Milo when I lived with my Breeder. They seemed so nice, and played with all my brothers and sisters and talked for a long time. I could tell they loved Milo and wanted to take him home. I thought they would be a good new parents but I was supposed to fly to the States for my new home. To be honest I was a little afraid to go all by myself on an airplane (but don't tell anyone that). While they were waiting for Milo to be old enough to leave the Breeder's my future parents decided that Milo would be lonely and wanted to bring one of his brothers home too. Right at that time I found out that I wasn't going to go to the States anymore and they wanted ME to come home with them too! It was fate, and now I'm the happiest kitty in the world living with my Mommy, Daddy, brother and new sister!
Bio: My registered name is Mystic Tails Mischievous One. I also live with Milo, my brother and litter mate.

Personal Obsession: My Mommy says my fascination with water has become an all consuming obsession. I don't what she is talking about. OK, well maybe a little bit, but I really like water! I jump in it (I don't care if I get wet), paw at it and lick it from the tap. The best is when Mommy pours a glass of water in the sink because it swirls around before it goes down! I spend hours by the sink looking at it and caressing the faucet in hope that water will eventually come out (and I have been known to sleep by the sink or in the tub). If anybody turns on a tap in the house, I am there!
A few kitties have inquired as to the Mean White Kitty and what he is up to. After all, he is my nemesis and I need to keep a close eye on him. There have been a few late night encounters with him - at the expense of Mom's sleep as she has been woken several times with my intruder screams. He doesn't seem to come around during the day, but Mom does see him in the neighbourhood. He strolls around casually like he owns the place, in no hurry, sometimes down the middle of the street. I think he has a bit of an attitude! One thing I did find funny was that Mom saw he had on a pink collar with a bell. Now you're probably going to say, "its a girl". But I don't think so, he's big and white - not your typical girl. I just rather like to think of him as a boy being forced to dress up in feminine attire *snickers*
It's Minka's Birthday today, she's two years old! It's been an interesting year. At first I wasn't so sure about that pushy little ball of fur, but I have to admit she has grown on me and *gasp* I like having her around. So today I want to wish her Happy 2nd Birthday! Anyone who is reading this, you can drop by her page, we've decorated with lots of cakes, so help yourself to a piece and leave a comment wishing her Happy Birthday.
We've been having a visitor at the back door lately, but he is not like the others in the past who we like and talk to. He has earned the nickname "The Mean White Kitty", here's why
Encounter #1:
A big fluffy white kitty comes to the back door at breakfast time and looks in. We all go over to say hello to the new arrival. The big white kitty hisses, baring teeth and swats at the back door in an angry frenzy. Minka scrambles away knocking over the kibble bowl and flinging the wet food across the kitchen in her wake. Milo bolts for the stairs to go to his "safe spot". I get all freaked and run to Mom. Mean White Kitty continues to sit on the back steps staring in ready for a fight - this is WAR!
Encounter #2:
Daddy hears "death cries" coming from the kitchen. He thinks something is wrong and comes running, only to find that The Mean White Kitty and I are in a stand-off on either side of the window. There is something wrong alright, an aggressive invader is on my back step and won't leave.
Encounter #3:
It's dinner time and Mom is cooking in the kitchen. Mean White Kitty is sitting on the back step again. I let out my death cries and crouch down by the door. I slowly back away from his cold hard stare and watch from afar, Minka is no where to be seen (and she is always in the middle of any kind of action). Milo approaches the door and meows. Yes, meows. Milo only meows a couple of times a year, so you know he is serious. The stare down between Milo and the Mean White Kitty continues for what seems like forever. Finally Mean White Kitty walks away, we watch him from the kitchen window as he uses the back garden as a litter box - Blasphemy...
